Mine too.

In other news, I bought Arms from a friend for £30. Plus, My joy-cons are back from Nintendo and all seems fine.

Fast chargers ain't just simple chargers there is communication between the charger and the device so if fast charging isn't supported by the switches cpu it won't work.

So just take a standard charger? You wont get dash charging on your phone but it will at least mean one cable will do both when you're travelling.

Holy crap the Pro Controller is just so much better. This is what should come with the Switch as standard, the joycons are what should be an optional extra purchase.

Yeah, many folk seem to find the Pro Controller to be excellent and it is my preferred controller for the Switch. I guess the joy-con are more suitable for the portable gaming experience, though.

It's the same with the Wii U. I find the Gamepad almost unusable after playing with the Pro Controller. It's heavy, large and clunky!

The Joycons look pretty cool though.

I think the directional buttons on the joy cons get too much gooseberry fool though. I was doing pretty well in metal slug with them.

I bought Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star today, so far it's dynasty warriors with added neon. Was thinking it's enjoyable enough in a hack and slash kinda way when on level 2..... Dynasty Warriors very own Lu Bu turns up to fight me. After a long fight I defeated him but he was his usual over powered self.

Nearly bought Street Fighter 2 for £28 but I'm still holding out for a bit more of a price cut.

Wish my image sig would work

This isn't strictly Switch related, so apologies if I should be posting it somewhere else, but I'm considering getting one before the year is finished and I'm also looking to sell my Wii U. Since Nintendo doesn't exactly follow convention when it comes to your online accounts, I just wanted to confirm what exactly I need to do before selling it.

Does formatting and resetting the Wii U to factory settings also handle the delinking of your NNID? When it comes to signing in on the Switch, can I then just use that ID (and take advantage of any benefits that potentially come with my digital purchases on the Wii U being tied to it)? Do I need to be concerned about my 3DS somehow being affected if my NNID is also tied to that?

I'd appreciate the clarification.

You can link your NNID to your Switch without doing anything to your Wii U or 3DS. My NNID is connected to all three.

It's a good idea to unlink it from any console that you're selling anyway. Hopefully someone else can confirm if formatting the Wii U will do that as I can't remember off the top of my head.

Aye it does, basically it's a new Wii U at that point with no trace of previous accounts on it.

So I've rather unexpectedly received a Switch from my wife for my birthday. Questions:

Does it have on board memory?
Is there a good Switch Magazine like N64/NGC Mag?
Are there any must have accessories/games?

I don't know anything about it as I wasn't intending to invest until next Christmas.

32GB onboard memory and I think around 26GB is usable.
No mags I'm aware of.
Pro Controller. Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Shovel Knight.

Cheers Maf.

Is there any drawback to sticking with the on board memory? Is it likely to run out?

I've skipped a couple of generations so I really have no idea what consoles can do these days.

Depends how many digital games you buy. Something like Splatoon is only around 3.6GB.
