I can't see them not bringing it to Switch. They just need to overcome some
(admittedly minor) issues with regards to not being able to use the touchscreen when the switch is docked and it's ready to go. It would be nice to see a Super Mario Maker Player app released for Switch in the meantime. Something to let people at least play the levels that already exist would be good.
Oh and Are You A Master Mario Maker will definitely return at some point. Certainly for a Switch version, but potentially beforehand if I'm in the mood.
Don't you mean 'not minor'.
I don't see how the game could work well without a touch screen. I don't necessarily think that's a problem, but the other problem is that the Switch has the wrong type of touch screen for this kind of game. I can't see the game working without a stylus of some sort, admittedly that's not impossible with a capacitive screen like the Switch has, but the cheap stylus you can get for capacitive screens aren't that good, which then means Nintendo need to bundle in a more expensive stylus with the game.
Again its not impossible, but I can't see them doing it unless they can think of other good reasons for it. I can't see them just releasing a port of the existing game (especially seeing as it already exists twice).
