So... two old games by Psikyo have appeared in the eShop.

Nintendo Switch eShop, explaining the game Gunbarich, wrote:Psikyo Revival!! Play the good old game!

Gunbarich launched in arcade version in 2001. It is a new game with elements of puzzle and shooting in the late works of Japanese brand "Psikyo". In Japan's amusement arcade, there is always one popular game.

Nintendo Switch eShop, explaining the game 1945, wrote:Psikyo Revival! Play the arcade classic!

A revolution broke out in shooting games in 1995. The Japanese brand "Psikyo" introduced a new enemy's attack, "Spread bullets" not seen before then, and the history of a new shooting game began.

 . Incredible! If that is deliberate text then it is fantastic... and, if it isn't, it's even more fantastic :toot: .

I'm sure they'll be reasonably and appropriately priced.

Added BAKA and Drummy to the Switch Squad! If I have missed anyone off let me know and I'll get you added.

I was thinking maybe we could have a dedicated Nintendo Switch online thread? Could have details of all the Switch GR game nights plus arrange others as new games come out

I really want to see Super Mario Maker arrive for the Switch. It's so good on the U and I'd love to see Cheeky Devlin run another amazing GRcade Are You A Master Mario Maker? competition sometime  .

I can't see them not bringing it to Switch. They just need to overcome some (admittedly minor) issues with regards to not being able to use the touchscreen when the switch is docked and it's ready to go. It would be nice to see a Super Mario Maker Player app released for Switch in the meantime. Something to let people at least play the levels that already exist would be good.

Oh and Are You A Master Mario Maker will definitely return at some point. Certainly for a Switch version, but potentially beforehand if I'm in the mood.

Don't you mean 'not minor'.

I don't see how the game could work well without a touch screen. I don't necessarily think that's a problem, but the other problem is that the Switch has the wrong type of touch screen for this kind of game. I can't see the game working without a stylus of some sort, admittedly that's not impossible with a capacitive screen like the Switch has, but the cheap stylus you can get for capacitive screens aren't that good, which then means Nintendo need to bundle in a more expensive stylus with the game.

Again its not impossible, but I can't see them doing it unless they can think of other good reasons for it. I can't see them just releasing a port of the existing game (especially seeing as it already exists twice).

Pointer or gyro controls.

Gyro-pointer is the obvious solution, but it's certainly not ideal (what with the lack of precision and having to recenter it all the time).

Still, better that and get Mario Maker on Switch than not to have it at all.
