Add DOOM to the list of Switch games I intend to buy.

I'm gonna need a bigger SD card...

Same, never got around to completing it on PS4 and had to delete it because the last 30GB patch was just too much and I needed the HDD space. Hope they sort that gooseberry fool out for this version.

Doom & Wolfenstein. :o Just the kind of games Nintendo needs to bring in to diversify its lineup. They should try to nab Lawbreakers, if it'd be able to run on their system - it could find a real following on the one platform that doesn't have much of that kind of game on it (yet).

They’ve confirmed to Eurogamer that it won’t have SnapMap and multiplayer will be an optional free download if you buy the physical copy.

Well Doom and Wolfenstein are two more games to add to my collection. Didn't think Doom would be a portable game so soon!

Ned Stark agrees :datass:

I pirated Doom in all honesty on PC so may get the Switch version. Curious to how it looks in comparison to PS4/Bone/PC.

Do you know what I'd love to see on Switch? Burnout Paradise.

I am a wee bit concerned that this thing about buying the cart and still having to download quite a chunk is going to become standard on the Switch. Hmmn... we'll see how this pans out, I guess. I'm really excited that Doom is gonna be on Switch, though :) .

Makes sense as multiplayer is online only - so it won't matter at the point where you can no longer download updates/game data from the server.

Glad it's optional as the Multiplayer in Doom was shite. The only real blot on an otherwise masterful game.

EDIT: No Snapmap is a bit rubbish, but totally understandable. It's not a major component of the game though so it's still worth buying I think.

I only dabbled in the multiplayer but I quite liked it... I played in bot mode and that was fun. But, yeah, I think the campaign is the main draw and it certainly is cool to see games like this on the Switch.
