Nintendo Switch Chat thread

Yeah that's likely what I'll do. It's down as Q2 for Japan as well, I think. Would quite like a boxed copy as it looks cool but it's not a deal-breaker.

I own it through Plus on my Vita but that's lapsed and they've said it's unable to run the Afterbirth stuff anyway.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is the ultimate commuter train game. Nobody will ever talk or disturb you and the games fly by so quickly that you don't realise how long you've been playing/on the train. It's fantastic.

How do you buy from other countries e-shops? Do you have to get store credit from the US or Japan etc.. or can you use paypal or debit card? I've setup a Japanese account already to get demos but haven't tried ordering anything that needs paying for, I assumed adding my card details wouldn't work like on PSN etc..?

Card details work on some stores, weirdly enough my Visa works on eShop for 3DS/Wii U, but not on switch right now.

For now you can buy eshop points from amazon digitally.

Admittedly, I might have a big strawberry floating sign on my forehead that says 'please feel free to engage me in conversation while I'm concentrating on playing my switch'.

I'm sure I read that the demo for Puyo Puyo Tetris on the Japanese e-shop had an English language option - but I cannae find it! Any pointers?

Thankfully, my days of commuting are long behind me.

Instead, I've taken my switch shopping with the missus (she can happily spend 30mins+ per store), on local buses (I live in Wales so they go all round the houses), out for dinner with the family (well, McDonald's, where I was repeatedly asked by a boy if he could have a turn and placed in the uncomfortable position of having to explain to his awkwardly-smiling mother that no, he couldn't), and even whipped it out (and solved a shrine I was stuck on) while queueing at the bank.

It just starts up so gash-darn effortlessly, and I've never once run out of battery.

How'd you get from the US just a day after release? Witchcraft.

What importers do people use for US stuff? Haven't imported anything for years and usually that was from Japan.

Ha that's just a photo of it in her hands. She's not back for a week or so.

And about importers, Play-Asia seems expensive to me and last time I'm imported a game I got it from LikSang! So yeah I'm looking for a decent place to order from too. Nin Nin games looks cheap but when I've googled it there are mixed things about the quality of the service.

They have the jp physical release of I am setsuna with full English @ £35 plus £4 p&p however when you try to buy it's out of stock. Let them have my email to let me know when in stock. They email me and it's never there even if I check within seconds of getting email.

There isn't any Pokemon. It's just all characters from Mario, Zelda Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Pikmin, Star Fox and Metroid.

Finally got money for a Switch and i cant find one anywhere in stock.

If I download Binding of Isaac from a US account then I can play it on my normal account right?
