A full collection of those Sega ages 3ds arcade and megadrive ports.

OutRun 2 would be better.

The most shocking thing about that image is the November to June gap on the Wii U

They should apply that model to every version. The multiplayer stuff is utter garbage, yet you need to download massive patches for it.

Seems like a good model for other developers looking to port over other games to follow too.

Yeah, I don't see a problem if devastating put the whole single player experience on the carts and have the multiplayer as an optional download. I hardly play multiplayer games so if it saves me having to wait for patches to download and install when they have no bearing on the single player then I'm ok with this

Interestingly that's how Call of Duty ships on PC, steam considers the multiplayer and single player separate, and you can install and uninstall them as such.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Okay, so we know that NBA 2K18 will require a Micro SD card to store additiona gamel data (circa 24Gb) but it appears that 5Gb of system memory (i.e. the built in memory, of which there is roughly 25 Gb free on a new system) will be needed for each save file :o . That really is quite a chunk, especially when you consider that all Switch games can only save data in the system memory... and that there is no way to backup or transfer that data.

It feels like this could grow to become quite an issue as bigger third party games launch and people own more games.

Might give Nintendo a kick up the arse to sort out it's save file location problem and being able to back up saves.

Bloody hell, I had Pikmin 3 in my head as an already late June but it was even further after that! They really did improve tenfold with Switch's release schedule

The whole "launch window" bullshit with WiiU was a joke.

I've been planning to get a Switch for Christmas for a while now and figured it probably won't get any cheaper than the £254 you can currently get it for on Amazon, so the console has been ordered in preparation. Christmas morning with Mario Odyssey is going to be so good!

Ya know what, I was thinking exactly the same thing myself.

But with Metroid Legacy Edition and SNES Mini in the same month, I simply can't justify it.

Impressive, I thought they'd just port the PS3 version bit it looks like they've kept the current gen engine and just dropped the frame rate, texture quality and cloth physics.

Use the discount code VG25OFF150 to reduce the console cost to £254. Clickety-click.
