Hasn't been too well reviewed sadly. Wonder if we'll see other indie horror games hit the system in time, handheld w/earphones is a surprisingly good fit for the genre. Found that playing RE1-3 and Corpse Party through on PSP w/lights off *shudder*

What a fantastic game this is. First game I have bought and I'm so glad. Hope the quality remains high for its remainder.

Thanks :)

I haven't heard anyone mention the de-synch issue for a few months now; the good news is that, if you buy a Switch, it woud have been manufactured after the problems with (some) of the initial batch.

Just to chip in on this one - I bought my Switch in August from Amazon (so should be new stock as they were out of stock beforehand) and I still get the syncing issues fairly regularly if I sit more than a couple of metres from the console.

Will be interesting to see if this latest update does anything to help with it.

What kind of wireless headsets are now supported by the Switch - I have some Bluetooth headphones that I'd love to pair with it but I didn't think they had a Bluetooth chip on the system?

Isn't it just wireless USB headsets like the PS4's Gold ones (Which I own so great news on that...Going to test mine now) that use a USB dongle?

Ah that's a shame. Support for real wireless headphones would be nice but this is still a step in the right direction.

I've seen people using 3.5mm jack Bluetooth dongles to connect headphones but they are pretty chunky things so it's not a great solution. Anyone know if it's possible to plug a USB Bluetooth adapter into the switch USB port and connect headphones that way?

Thanks to those who answered my questions, but I think I will hold off on the Switch for now...I can't justify the expense, and the only game I want is Mario Odyssey.

For Christmas, I can finally get going on Breath of the Wild on Wii U.

Switch will have to wait until next year (although I did treat myself to a pair of Neon Yellow Joycons in preparation)!

Wait you bought an extra set of controllers before the console?

In my own switch news, I bought Spelunker Party last night... and I'm super enjoying it so far :toot:

Yes, because I love the yellow ones and they are limited edition, so I figured if I don't get them now, I never will. Plus I felt like getting something Switch related :)

Why not get BOTW in Switch too giving you a second game, you can then Zelda it up anywhere.

That's like a quarter of the cost of a Switch itself

I want to buy all the colour variants so much

I had a notification from Amazon this morning saying my copy of Fire Emblem Warriors wouldn't be delivered because it was "damaged in transit". Never known that happen before!

I know you're holding off anyway but I will add my two cents on the Joy-Con controller. I cannot stand it - you'd probably get used to it if it's all you use, but it's possibly the worst controller I've ever tried. Definitely test it out beforehand; chances are you'll want a pro-controller.

Yeah, I'll probably get the Pro Controller, but I just love the way the yellow joy-cons look on the Switch.

My hand aren't that big though, so I'm hoping I'll get on a bit better with the Joycons.

I want a switch so badly :simper:

I think I've mentioned it in this thread before but I've found the joy cons surprisingly great to use! I've been using them exclusively for two months and have had no real problems comfort wise. I originally planned to grab a pro controller ASAP after getting the Switch but have now put it right on the back burner as for me it just doesn't seem necessary - that may well change as I expand my library of games, I can imagine DOOM being a bit tricky on the joy cons for example.

I like the joy-cons as well. Don't get the hate at all.

Did the update make some changes to the game time tracker on your profile? I checked binding of Isaac on mine yesterday and it said ‘played for 2 hours or more’ but I thought it didn’t put a number on a game until you hit 5+ hours?

That's a good spot, Milner - I'm sure it used to update in five-hour chunks. I just hope that - eventually - the time tracking functionality gets to be as good as it is on the 3DS  .

That depressing moment when Skippy appears on your online friend list playing Super Mario Odyssey.

That depressing moment when, excited about PuppetBoy's update, you check your Switch... and realise that you're not friends with Skippy :( .
