Anyone pick up Blossom Tales? Any good? I gather their sales on Switch saved the company from folding. Kinda heartwarming. Especially as the studio seem to be huge Nintendo fans, and the game is clearly Zelda inspired.

Not going to be able to play it until I finish Tokyo Xanadu eX+ though.

I've just bought a Switch :toot:

Very much an impulse purchase (£190-ish from Amazon Germany's warehouse), and I won't be able to use it for a few months, but I'm excited!

Already got an SD card, and I'll probably pick up a pro controller as well, but is there anything else I should be getting too? I don't know if it needs a screen protector for example

I have grabbed I am Setsuma or however you spell it while it's on sale.

I'd recommend grabbing screen protectors and if you have kids get a cup or pot and assign it the side of joycons home, as people just seem to clip and unclip them and leave them all over the place.

Definitely get screen protectors. I had one on mine from day 1 and don't have to worry about scratches from the Dock. If you have kids, as well as having a designated spot to store the joycon as kerr says, I'd recommend getting a second set of them when you can. One of the joycons has the stick further to the right which means it can be more difficult for smaller hands.

My nipper also only wants the red one which causes grief!

I don't personally use a screen protector, but it's always a good idea, especially since the screen is plastic.

If you're planning on using it in Tabletop mode, you might want a Hori Play Stand. It's only £9.99 but being able to plug things into the USB port in the bottom while playing makes one totally worth it.

I'm still amazed how they fit so much storage into such a tiny card

The upside to this is that i still have my original SNES copy, so this could sit alongside it. If it was the Amiga version..... well i am less likely to be able to place my hands on my "purchased" copy.
