I have literally nowhere else the console can go, though. It would either be in front of the TV obscuring the screen, on its side where it can't dock properly, or in a position where there's not enough space to fit it in the dock from above. Ballache.

You could try one if these and position the tablet in view while keeping the dock hidden away.

One day in and this already is a million times better than my Wii U hardware wise. In some ways I think it's unfair to compare the two as I don't think the tegra was really up to much better than PS2 visuals in 2013? But the crap TN panel on the Wii U gamepad always annoyed the snob in me. Much better on this thing.

Birthday in a couple weeks, usually get some vouchers, planning Zelda and a pro pad for sure.

Hopefully some version of Mario maker comes to this then I can put the Wii U in the big plastic tub.

This console

Have got six hours into Zelda and I'm in love. Also had a blast on my brother's copy of Arms which I really enjoyed. Haven't even got round to Splatoon 2 yet. Too much to do on Zelda...

Breath of the Wild is a special game. It was enough to tide me over for the first month although I know others were disappointed with what else was on offer.

I feel now is a decent time for people to consider getting a Switch. BoTW, MK8D, ARMS, Splatoon 2, Disgaea 5, Puyo Puyo Tetris and a decent number of indie games are must-haves and we should have Mario and Rabbids, Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors and hopefully Xenoblade Chronicles 2 before the end of the year.

Cannot wait!

Got myself a USB Lan adapter off Amazon which works like a charm and nice to know I now have a solid wired connection to the Switch rather than the dodgy superhub Wi-Fi. Bought a cheaper one off eBay which was supposed to work with the Switch but no joy and the replacement didn't either.

Finally part of the Switch club. Love the hardware so far, playing Splatoon 2 in bed last night felt so weird and yet just so right. I feel a bit sorry for the WiiU, that chunky gamepad just need felt right away from the main part of the console, but the Switch. Brilliant. :D

It has been confirmed that Rayman Legends will launch on 12 September for the Switch. I'm looking forward to this... it was great fun playing Rayman Origins on the Wii with my nephews. Oh, and apparently a demo is available on the eShop right now :toot: .

One Piece Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is arriving in September, too. I was tempted by this on the U; I don't know very much about the One Piece franchise but this looks to be a fun adventure with some cool combat elements.

Does anyone have snipperclips? What's your verdict on it?

It's a lot of fun in multiplayer.

Great co-op, give it a pass if you're singleplayer only.

Unexpected refund so I'm getting a pro controller and Zelda. My staycation for my birthday next week is going to be amazing.

Hmmn... I've just watched the comparison video (below) of the Switch and Wii U versions and they look exactly the same (bar a couple of enemy updates). The game looks great anyway, and I guess it's a compliment to the U version, but they really do look the same.

The worrying aspect is that, according to the comments, the Switch version doesn't work as smoothly whilst in docked mode - which sounds odd. Hopefully Ubi will iron out these issues prior to release.

Edit: Ah! Ubi has removed the demo from the eShop due to technical issues with the game whilst running in docked mode!

I loved Rayman Legends, but I won't be quad-dipping.

Fate Extella is really good fun. If you enjoyed Hyrule Warriors then you will probably enjoy this too.
