It feels like they don't appreciate the nintendo fans.

Monster Hunter titles have always sold well on Nintendo consoles, particularly in the US and Japan so I would be very surprised if this doesn't come to switch unless there are some conversions problems and they aren't happy with how it will run on the switch.

Is anyone considering buying switch versions of games instead of ps4/ xbox one so you can play them on the go? I may get skyrim again, just to play it anywhere and am holding off for the switch versions of rime and yooka laylee!

Depends on the game.

I bought Puyo Puyo Tetris on Switch rather than PS4 and swapped my Yooka-Laylee from the Kickstarter to Switch.

I was considering Rime on Switch, but then it became clear it was coming later and so I got the PS4 version (which looks amazing on PS4 Pro, everyone should play it) and I would have bought Skyrim on Switch, but the lure of VR means I'll be getting it for PSVR instead.

For games you can dip in and out of it makes a lot of sense to me, for a story based linear narrative less so.

I've already bought Puyo Puyo Tetris and Snake Pass on Switch over getting them on PS4. Puyo Puyo Tetris especially is much better suited to handheld.

I'll also be getting Skyrim on Switch because of the portability (and that'll be my first time playing the DLC), and I'm waiting for Yooka-Laylee on Switch too.

As above I got Rime on PS4 as I didn't want to wait for it on Switch, and that kind of game seems better suited to being played on the TV.

I love how Switch allows for that choice. Personally, I prefer playing Mario Kart on the TV but Disgaea in portable mode. If other folk had different preferences... then Switch can cater for that. It's great!

I think it's great that whatever game you buy you will have handheld and home versions so I will definitely buy most games on the Switch. Let's be honest though, there aren't going to be many games that will be the same across all platforms anyway.

I will nearly always buy a game on Switch over PS4/XB1 unless the performance is massively compromised.

Is there still no date for Rime, YookaLaylee, and Skyrim? I plan on getting all three and that would flesh out my Switch library nicely, but I'm starting to get impatient!

No specific dates for Rime or Yooka - beyond "2017" - yet, red dog, whilst Skyrim is "Autumn 2017" i.e. probably October.

See I'm really keen to get Rime, Yooka and Skyrim, but the problem is, by the time they come out, there's a good chance I can get the PS4 versions for a much lower price. I hooe they get them out on time so that you don't need to make an overly expensive buy to play the switch versions.

Anything that will benefit from higher frame rate or resolution I'll likely still get on PC. See Rime, Snake Pass, Mr Shifty and Yooka Laylee.

Anything that doesn't fit that though I'll jump at the chance to also have a portable version of. Puyo Tetris and Wonder Boy I was absolutely keen to get on Switch, as will be the case with Sonic Mania, possibly Shantae and anything else with primarily 2D visuals.

I tend to buy the multiplatform stuff on PC, I only ever play the Switch connected to the TV and the PC is connected to the same TV, so may as well go for it on PC.

They were selling it as a download code? How much?

Was going to go pick up a physical copy after work but it could end up being cheaper digitally.

I presume the download code is exactly the same as just picking up a physical copy over here? And it has to be downloaded through the Japanese store not the EU one? It has English language options? Not interested in all that 日本語。I see enough of it as it is, so it's a 日本ーNO from me.
