Presumably, as the stuff is cardboard, it will be pretty cheap?

They can't charge more than £5 to £10 max for bits of cardboard, surely?

Keep in mind you’re paying for some kind of software too.

Nintendo Labo owns. 100% hyped, the tech behind this looks wonderful. Clearly kid-focused but knowing Nintendo at least some of the experiences they put out will be pure fun even for grown-ups.

Labo talk should go in the Labo thread.

That seems quite expensive. Might put a lot of people off.

Looks fantastic, this is a great idea for families with the creative aspects and I bet the games will be quite fun too!

Project Giant Robot lives on.

Definitely a great idea. Not sure I'll be dipping in myself if the prices are what they've said (I've already got too much to play this year), but this will go down very well with 7-12 year olds I imagine.

Yeah, goodbye wallet.

I'm interested to see what this will spark in the aftermarket, I might even be able to make some money.

If the pack in game is the quality of 1-2 Switch, this will be a disaster.

Neat idea but no one really thinks they will be using these accessories for other games do they?

I think you’re looking at this the wrong way. It’s not really about the quality of the pack in game and they’re not really accessories in the traditional sense.

This is a toy aimed at 5-10 use old kids. The fun is taking the time to build the item and understand how it works and then see it come to life. The piano alone takes 2 hours to build for example.

The robot design is pretty ingeniuen(if it works well) too-4 strings attached to your limbs that are connected to the box on your back and the IR camera used to track movement.

I'm not sure I was meant to read Gecko's post as a follow up to bear's - but I definitely did

You're such a Capitalist Gecko.

But yeah it looks really interesting. I was wavering at first but I'm definitely picking up at least one of the packs.

Yeah what the strawberry float jawa, spraying schoolgirls' massively oversized breasts with jets of water is totally normal.
