It's almost as if gamerforever was talking shite. First time for everything, I guess.

No, you need the pro controller imo. Removing the joycons looks fiddly!

Fine, don't buy it. :| Our definitions of 'bare minimum' clearly differ wildly.

Seems to me you want to spend loads of time on here talking about how much you want to buy it, but then finding reasons not to buy it.

He'll get it when its £2, outputs at native 8k, comes with 5 games bundled and makes breakfast. Theres no value there otherwise.

Nah, the controllers need to detach themselves and fly into his hands like Luke summoning his lightsaber.

Not gonna lie, now you've said it I want this.

"bare minimum" should be a term reserved for things /actually required/ to use the console. Any other use is hyperbolic.

I reckon the system and Zelda (Game are doing that for £320) would be enough to get started, given what a big game Zelda is as well.

I keep forgetting that a grip is included because I'm planning to use the Joy-Cons like two Wii Remotes when the Switch isn't in handheld mode. I'm excited! :toot:
My only slight concern at the moment is that the sticks aren't really offset from the buttons which may result in it not being as comfortable for long periods of time. We'll see though.

Yeah it was a little cramped even when just playing MK. But the grip means your hand holds it at an angle so it's more like the stick is offset slightly.

This kind of thinking makes me sick.

Ha, exactly the same here. Ah well, folks on GAF are getting £5 vouchers if they complain upon cancellation so that's something at least.
