Yet now. NOWHERE in Norwich has a copy of Zelda. No supermarkets, no Argos, no...(I'm not going to Game)...nowhere.

Boooooo.

Buy it... digitally?

Not ready to take a second mortgage out just yet.

The reason this is funny is that Songwriter thinks shelling out an extra £10 for a digital copy of Zelda is comparable to taking out a second mortgage.

He is right.

A second mortgage costs around £10 before fees.

Aw cheers for backing me up Mr G.

I was only joking though.

You've got to add in a memory card, internet fees, the time I'll spend pressing buttons, so actually we're moving into THIRD mortgage territory.

Thanks again though.

Add in a memory card? It's 4GB, easily fits on the system memory!

Zelda Switch requires around 13 Gb, dude. But, yeah, it would still fit in the system memory (I believe around 25 Gb is free?).

Played a Switch for the first time yesterday. My mate brought it with him when we met up and so we were playing 1-2-Switch in a Costa in London.

I liked it; JoyCons felt a bit small/flimsy to me, but they were fine for what we were doing. If I bought one myself I'd never use it out and about and so I'd get a Pro Controller with it anyway. I like the interface and the console itself, and even 1-2-Switch was good fun. I wouldn't buy it, but it served as a good introduction for me to the tech (prime example of why it should've been included). My mate had Zelda as well but I didn't want to play it/spoilt it.

Overall, seemed good. Almost certain I'll buy one, just going to wait until there are more games available. £300+ seems too much at this point for me.

Looks like Amazon have sold out of both consoles and Zelda and won't be getting more stock for almost three weeks.

I had my brother over for a Sunday roast today. He'd spent years being down on Nintendo and was mainly a PS3/4 gamer and had been quite dismissive of the Switch over the past few months. I created him a user profile and put Zelda on, needless to say he had nothing but good things to say and really liked that you could switch between the TV and handheld so easily.

I doubt he'll go out and buy one just yet, but he seemed pretty impressed and was enquiring about future games.

Saw the Mario Kart Deluxe / Switch advert earlier. Definitely much better than the Wii U efforts in terms of marketing. Clear and concise with an appealing message.

Anyone else not see this supposed hidden activity tracker? Been playing for 8/9 days now - isn't it supposed to appear after 7? I've saw the screenshots of folk with things like "BotW - played for over 35 hours". So far all I see is "first played 8 days ago".

Nothing has appeared for me yet either, not sure exactly what triggers the play activity to show but I would like to find to how much time i've sunk into Zelda

Yeah it isn't showing up for me either, but it's appeared for others when I've looked at their profiles. Saw that someone had been playing Zelda "for over 50 hours". Only the one person had that, though.

I do miss that system log feature. And Miiverse. I feel like it's a step back in the regard. Miiverse especially, I have no idea why they got rid of it.

I read somewhere if you setup parental controls right that will show playtime.

I hope they patch it a proper system log like what the Wii U had, it must be keeping the data so I have no idea why its not built in already.

Word of warning - apparently you can't move data between the internal and external memory. So if you've ploughed 40 hours into Zelda and the save is on the internal memory, it's stuck there permanently.

Save files can't be backed up/transferred at all by design for any game.

According to Reddit it kicks in on Day 10, which is strange as I thought early reports pointed to 7 days as you mentioned.

Oddly my activity now says 25hrs or more for Zelda.

Also if you go in to friends profiles it shows how they have played.

Wii U : punkeator
Xbox live : darksideby182
Psn : darksideby182
steam : Punkeator
Origin : Punkeator
Switch : 6739-1557-7191
