Well there will be....but its only just launched. Even the Wii didn't have lots of that after a month.

I finally got round to given switch12 a go yesterday and I am not impressed. It's less of a computer game and more of a game that uses the computer (I know that sounds a bit daft). But every game is based on just performing some action whilst holding the joy con and there is nothing to control of interact with on the screen. I like the quick draw ones but most other games just felt a bit cheap. If it cost a tenner then yeh fair enough, but it is way overpriced for what it is. Which isn't much. Loving the Neo Geo shoot em ups though, Nam75 is a bit iffy but the rest are brill.

I'm actually thinking about picking one of these up, but I think I'll wait for the next hardware iteration, even if it's one with minor tweaks. Zelda sounds great and I really liked the look of Xenoblade. Might well be a good option for a Christmas present. The only thing that concerns me is that the software will hold its value for a long time. I usually buy new games (as in not second hand) when they've been out a while and have been significantly reduceded in price. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

Wii U can be picked up for under £200 and has more than 5 games, plus you can play your gooseberry fool Wii games on it.

Jackbox party pack is coming soon, and has a game mode where you match silly sound effects to a prompt. I imagine a 7 year old would love that.

Jackbox sounds like our jam. I had it set up on the PC so she could play with her ipad but it was a bit of a chore.
