I'm at work so I'll miss it.
Hoping for a surprise "Demo" announcement. Never happen though.

Looking forward to this. Out E3 week as well if I'm correct. :D

I'd love it if they did release a demo.. but, yeah, I expect that is unlikely. Oh, and you're right - the game releases on 16 June :toot: .

So... anyone else having/had connection issues with their Switch? My NAT type is 'D' in the Switch's connection test (which I think is 'strict') and I can't get it to be more open than that. I've tried forwarding ports (even ALL OF THEM like Nintendo suggests), turning off the router firewall, DMZ-ing the Switch... no change.
It's not even like I have any games I want to play online (well, Mario Kart a little bit), but I've been struggling with this for a few days now and nothing I do seems to make a difference and it's just frustrating.

Unplugged it from the wall once, restarted multiple times (via router webpage thing).

Hmmmm, might want to manually forward the ports then in the firewall and set a IP reservation.

My Switch will be a bitch at times and say something about the DNS. It's really odd. Nothing else does it and powering it off and on again works every time. I don't get it. It's also really common so it's the Switch that's the problem.

But which ports? Nintendo suggests all of them. I don't know a lot about this kind of thing, but I think that's too many.

I'm beginning to suspect there's simply a problem with my internet connection or the router, because I've tried just about everything now.
Yep. Google search results suggest the router is gooseberry fool. Giving up on this until there's a game I really want to play online. It's fine.

I had the same problem with my Switch a couple of weeks ago and powering it off fully was the only way to fix it. Hopefully Nintendo can fix the issue with a patch.

Just a reminder that the Nintendo Direct for ARMS will be broadcast at 23:00 (UK) tonight.

I'm not gonna be here to watch it live but I shall catch up with it later. I'm interested in the approach but, as I'm never that keen on fighting games, I'm eager to find out what twists Nintendo have brought to the genre.

Oh, and I searched for a game-specific thread but couldn't locate it. I guess we must have one... right? :shifty: .

Arms is looking so good  Loving the crazy cast of characters and wildly different modes. Love that you can play offline modes while searching for online matches too.

Just watched it... it looked really good! There seems to be quite a lot in the package; plenty of game modes and match-up options. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Oh... and that bonus Splatoon 2 footage at the end :) . Splatoon 2 console bundle, Splatoon Pro Controller and Splatoon joycon are coming! Neon pink/green if that takes your fancy :toot: .
