So sort of chucked a bid on one today on eBay (I've justified splurging on one using my PayPal credit..) but there are sites I can get one from too using PP credit isn't there? I think Shopto do it and maybe TGC.

Now to try and think of an excuse what that thing sitting next to the PS4 would be and how I came by it :shifty:

Theyre pretty damn good too!

Be better if they offered some bundles, or better yet just savings if you own a number of the games. The prices aren't terrible, but when I paid $10 for a whole bunch of the games on PC and $5 for a selection of 10 or more on Android, paying £6.29 a game on Switch is just too much.

I never brought them on anything else, so it's been great for me.

I might pick up Magial Drop 2 in a few weeks.

Grammar error aside, my issue isn't that I already bought them on another platform, its that the pricing difference between Switch and those other platforms is quite frankly massive if you happen to want to purchase a number of these games.

I don't normally have that big an issue with spending that kind of money on really good games (and some of these are really good games), I'm just saying some kind of bulk purchase discount option would be nice.

So my bid on eBay won me a Switch! Cheapest place to get Mario Kart 8 and Zelda would be?

Edit* Got MK8 off Simplygames for £39.

strawberry floating hell, I plan to be getting one of these later this year, and I was looking at games and stuff.

Why is Zelda like near 60 quid? That's mental.

Might just leave Zelda for now. Not sure I'd play through it all again so soon with the hours I've put in to the Wii U version via Cemu. I'm probably strong enough to take on Ganon now. Is Splatoon any good? Worth just sticking a pre-order in for that?

Did you play the first Splatoon? It's a great game especially online but 2 has more features (Bigger story mode, Horde mode)

Played great during the Testfire a few months ago

Cheers, toying with the idea of stocking up on games before I take the plunge. Much like I did with the 3DS.

Never owned a Wii U, so not one I've played. Got it pre-ordered anyway and I'll have a look on YouTube at vids of the first game.

But you must make sure it's properly updated and fully working before his big day!

Of course and this includes the installation of any games and accessories and checking them for compatibility?

Also will I likely need an SD card straight away? Not intending to download a game but wondering about installations and saves.

I would say no. I've had no issues with storage so far on mine but I'm planning on buying mainly physical releases.

I think you get around 26GB of usable space so that's more than enough for saves and patches.

Only get an SD card if you're downloading e-shop games.
