Defo I ordered mine from Simplygames Tuesday night and it turned up this afternoon.

One more week until I get a Switch. The important question now is do I get grey or neon?

I chose neon. However, if I ever buy another pair of joy-cons, I would go for grey! Then I can have the best of both worlds.

No one seen the replacement shells you can get for both the back plate of the Switch and the Joy Cons? Been debating getting the transparent Joy Con shells off Amazon for about a week but it's having the bloody confidence to completely gut a Joy Con and put everything back properly in the new shell.

But in the switch they've finally made something which looks like a sexy expensive bit of kit. I dont see the sense in making it look so gooseberry fool with dayglow missmatching controllers.

That's a bit silly! The neon version is a very clever and mature piece of design. Both versions are fine.

I like the neon edition. I didn’t think I would, but they’re coloured in quite tasteful shades.

I would love to see a clear translucent edition console with black joy-con. That would look super swish .

You do realise the mismatched colours are because there was originally a grey, all red and all blue version? Retailers didn't want 3 versions in stock and Nintendo would have already been making all 3, so they mixed them and made two skus, then sold the other sides of this colours as separate purchases because they're sat there already made. You're buying a manufacturing fuckup and loving it....WAKE UP SHEEPLE etc

I bought the neon edition console and later grabbed grey joy-con at a good (well, better than usual) price. I’m now living the dream of having a switchable neon and grey edition .

Would buy the green/pink joy-con if I had the money, too .

I'm trying to link my Nintendo account with my PayPal, to get the £20 credit for £15 deal. Selecting PayPal on the switch says an email will be sent to me with instructions, but nothing has arrived (I originally tried yesterday). Can anyone help?

I looked up this info from Nintendo Life, Yoshimi:

UK-based users of the online payment service - which recently extended its reach to Nintendo's new console, the Switch - can obtain this offer by logging into their PayPal account, clicking on the offers page and selecting the Nintendo eShop deal. After saving the offer to your PayPal account, you can then proceed to purchase something on the eShop using PayPal have receive £5 off.

But... I don’t think the offer is still available as it is not listed on PayPal’s offer page.
