I still need to pick up an SD card for my Switch, what ones can it take? Does it support UHS 3 speeds or do these not make much difference to load times etc?

Just wait that extra half a week. It will make the day just that bit more special.

But I'll then have to spend hours updating the thing and inevitably have my Nintendo account not work. If rather have it ready yo just play on Mario day.

The updates really don’t take long at all. You’ll be up and running really quickly.

Watched a vid on YouTube comparing the speeds of different cards and UHS 3 was slower than 1. They recommended the one I use which is the 128GB SanDisk Ultra 2.

Cool, thanks for that - sounds similar to what I've got in my phone. Whilst it's a shame it can't take advantage of the higher speeds my bank balance is going to be pleased as those UHS 3 cards aren't cheap!

We are at EGX this week showing the latest build of Hyper Sentinel, if anyone is going, then pop by and say hello.

For those who aren’t going here’s a video with John at Huey games, showing Hyper running on Switch hardware plus a sneak peak at the retro C64 and ZX Spectrum modes :D

Oh wow! This is looking great, 'Quake! I love the C64 and Spectrum modes; you and the guys have done a terrific job in capturing the look of those formats. I'm getting excited to see the final game... I'm in for the Switch, PS4, iPad and Mac versions  .

Wow! Thanks for the support Jawa. As it happens I was adding names to the credits screen the other day and saw your name in the lists. :toot:

Switch version hit 60fps in handheld without any extra effort. We should be HDR on consoles.

Oh, man, that is gonna be another reason for my hype to build as the launch edges closer :) .

The game looks like it works really well on the Switch; the colours just pop and have a lovely vibrancy. Even in Speccy mode  .

Thanks Jaz! Switch is bloody lovely. We got 60hz straight out from the same codebase as Xbox One without having to turn a single thing off. Nintendo have built a little beast of a console.
