You know how, here in GRcade, we kinda laugh at people pre-ordering FIFA because it “may be hard to find a copy” or it “may sell out”? Well, at 0930 on launch day Amazon has sold out of the Switch version.

This could only happen on Switch :fp:  .

You wouldn't think they could scrape themselves out of bed that early to order it.

Whats the verdict on Golf Story? I like the look of it, but I'm busy with Steamworld Dig 2 and Mario+Rabbids at the mo. Think I'll pick up Stardew Valley when it comes out.

Gutted I never did manage to get my PayPal and Nintendo accounts linked to get the free £5 credit.

I'm drowning in Nintendo right now. Got the Snes mini, Fifa 18, Golf story to play this weekend yet I can't tear myself away from................Picross :slol:

Sega need to bring Football Manager touch to switch. I think it would sell really well.

Is that the one that's just FM Classic mode? I'd totally buy that.

Yeah it's that but with a touch screen optimized skin. Get that on the eshop for £20 and it would sell like hotcakes.

I don’t understand why if they have an IOS and Android version that they won’t do a switch version. It surely can’t cost a lot to covert it.

It was in and out of stock to preorder before launch too.

I ordered my copy last week and they emailed me yesterday to say it wouldn't come till Monday.

This is so accurate. Only went on one thing Star Wars Battlefront 2. That was a hour and half wait. Couldn't be arsed waiting a hour plus per game.

I've only been the once and the guy I went with had been to so many E3s etc that he wasnt half as excited as me.

Me travelling up on the day - "Oh all the games i'm going to get to play :toot: :toot: "

Getting to the venue - :datass:

Seeing the amount of people - :| :?

Seeing the queues for every strawberry floating single game were around the hall twice :dread: :dread: :dread: :dread:

The only game I actually played was some Wii U party game do dahh which was for kids, but there was a husband and (I think) wife on a little demo pod with nobody even looking at them, so i went and played their word search games and spent a bit of time chatting with them.

Yeah it runs optimised on the shield tablet so they have experience with the hardware.

If anyone is after a handheld Fifa then the switch version is legit. If you plan on mostly playing on TV........try it.

Apparently there's no way to play with Friends online.

Had a blast tonight. Two player Overcooked and Scissorsnips then, (very drunken), Thumper. Some great games on this little machine.

Just spent 7 hours at my mates house playing Mario kart. Proper old school multiplayer, and I didn't need to buy any extra controllers.
