I haven’t seen firm confirmation, Delboy, but it is looking like it will all be on the cart. The eShop download is circa 14 Gb so I guess that they’re gonna use a 16 Gb cart.

I think the bugs are already on the cartridge.

It truly is the full Skyrim experience then!

Fourth boss down, I think there's just the final boss left now. Got a few areas of the map to go back and explore still

Beat the final boss first attempt because it glitched out and stopped attacking towards the end (when I was very almost dead). But I then died during the escape/cave collapse, which it turns out still ends the game but without you escaping. So I need to go back and actually escape to see what I guess is the "true" ending still!

Good stuff! I haven’t been able to play any more since last post due to dev work, but hopefully I can pick up over the weekend. What score would you rate the game?

Nice one, Taf! Will this mean that you hope to be opening it on Christmas Day? What game are you gonna ask for?

Anyone who ordered Sonic Forces from shopto beware that it comes with a sonic hat and it won't fit through your letterbox. Mine just came and luckily my dog woke me up or I would have missed it. Haven't even had a dispatch email from them.

Ah! I noticed that yesterday... it sounds cool to get a free gift but, yeah, it does muck up the delivery. Many folk will probably have to wait until next week to go and be collect it from their delivery office!

I cancelled my order for this game but I’d be really keen to hear what you reckon of it, Rog.

Looking through my friends list on Switch*, it seems that there is a pretty equal split between folk that use a Mii image and folk that pick a Nintendo character image. Gotta say that I prefer Mii images... in my mind I never link a character with a person.

Having said that, Karl’s Mii has such a miserable pose! I feel like you’re on a permanent downer, dude  .

* Bet that didn’t take long, jawa! etc

So far it's your regular 3d Sonic. I'm interested in the story because it echoes the later cartoons from my childhood but it is doing a poor job so far. All the important stuff has been done by plain text on the screen. A montage of the Robotnik takeover wouldn't have been hard. 30 fps lock on switch ruins it and the homing attack is temperamental.

And finished. The controls are shoddy. The story is bad, there was zero point to having the true end of mania lead to bringing him there. The new stuff and the avatar is just pointless. It's pointless all around really.
