Also joining Club Switch on Christmas day. Actual Switchmas! Woo!

I've got Mario sat in the cupboard waiting. Any other recommendations to have ready to go? Thinking I'll probably download Snipperclips+ for some multiplayer fun.

Quick question - are Switch cart games region locked?

There's a nice looking Zelda explorers edition launching in the US in a few weeks. And if I jump on the Switch bandwagon then I might be tempted.

Nope, completely region-free.

So apparently the Hulu app is coming out for Switch today in the US. I'm not that bothered about these things myself but I know lots of people were keen to see more media stuff on Switch so it's nice to know things are starting to happen.

Weird that was out before something like Netflix or YouTube.

Didn't the youtube app lead to a jailbreak on 3ds? I think that's why these are taking so long.

yes same I am not too bothered about this but yes it's good to see this happening as it's another selling point and as the price comes down I think a Netflix and youtube app's could help parents buy it for their children.

I've been playing Morphite pretty much non-stop, and making good use of the Switch's screenshotting. It's one of those games where I keep wanting to take pictures of what I've found. From the serene:

This is what happens when you call in your dropship, then ride a giant iguana mount directly under the landing spot and leave it there to see what happens :lol:

That was a super fun planet in general, not only was there a giant Iguana to ride but I also rented out two different vehicles. Check it out:

I've only dipped my toe in, OR, but... I really like it! I'm surprised by the similarities with NMS in some of the game's mechanisms. I need to play a lot more to get a better idea but I am pleased that I jumped aboard following your recommendation.

I only just realised something, the game cases are the exact same size as the Switch itself! :shock:

So, what's the deal with buying from other regions eshops? Is it straight forward to do?

Anyone had any experience using something like Revolut to purchase this way? My bank usually adds a good few quid on in foreign transaction fees so it tends to negate the benefit...

EDIT: asking as I've noticed that Stardew Valley is only about £6 from the Mexican store!

They must be pretty confident with how they're shaping up for 2018. Probably means Pokemon...

Also been playing lot of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and also got Splatoon 2, Puyo x Tetris and Arms and I've enjoyed all of them, and I'm still happily playing Mario Odyssey (trying for all power moons now).

I could get Zelda but I'm waiting till Christmas for it, want to spend time on games I've got.
