I can't decide whether I need a pro controller or not. I already have 2 sets of Joycons...

How is it with bots?

Surprisingly good. You can pick up to 3, have got difficulty options for them (and Hard actually is pretty hard) and the game is designed around 30-45 minute sessions so it's easy to take breaks and put it down for a bit. Nowhere near as much fun as proper multiplayer, but still a hugely enjoyable game.

It's not essential but the pad is fantastic. The sticks and triggers are bigger than the joycons and it's so much comfier than them in the grip, it's easily the comfiest pad I've ever used in terms of it just fitting into your hand if you know what I mean. The battery life is mental too, I got my Pro at launch and honestly think I've only had to charge it about 6 or 7 times since then.

Just seen there's another one of those "£5 off if you spend £20 with PayPal on the eShop" deals

God the switch looks big in that photo. Probably should have gone and seen one in person before buying it

Funnily enough, when I got it the other day it was much smaller than I expected!

I would imagine that it's a child holding it in the image.

I'm a bit in love. What a lovely bit of kit this is.

Had the day off today, there's two inches of snow outside, our birdfeeder finally has blue tits on it, and I've hunkered down and played Odyssey for a few hours.

Never mind that. Did your SD card turn up? If not, you might want to check TCRT.

Ah strawberry float me are friend codes still a thing?! Forgot they existed, thought they would've gone by the wayside about 5 year ago.

You would also think that backups, cloud saves, wireless audio would also be a thing but Nintendo and all that.

Used the £20 eShop monies for £15 when adding funds to wallet via PayPal and got both Resident Evil Revelation games.

With that PayPal deal, can I just add £20 to my account for a future purchase? And it will only physically take £15 from my bank?

Yup that's what you can do. That's how I've done it both times with that deal now, adding the funds (£20) via PayPal through the eShop. You do need to activate the offer through PayPal before hand though.

I believe the PayPal offer has now ended because it has been maxed out (3,700 people). I managed to jump in and I’m thinking about following Kj’s lead in picking up the Resi games... :shifty: .

Dude, from the home screen, click on your icon (top left of screen) and, under the Profile heading, your Friend code will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.
