It arrived!

Instant buyers remorse upon realizing i don't even play videogames anymore. Maybe this will reintroduce me to them.

Looks pretty enough though.

There are some fantastic games on it, and it's very accessible & pick-up-and-play. It's a great 'getting back into playing games' console.

Odyssey and Breath of the Wild are legit two of the best games of all time. For multiplayer, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the definitive Mario Kart. Those are the system's must-buys.

If you fancy them, there are tonnes more great games: Rabbids, ARMS, Splatoon, Disgaea, and Xenoblade are all either games I would recommend or have been recommended & am planning to pick up soon. I haven't even touched on local multiplayer or indie stuff (they don't tend to be my thing) but I hear the system's got a lot going on in those areas too.

Next year I reckon we'll at least see Pokemon and Metroid (surely must-buys!), Octopath Traveller and Luigi's Mansion, and ports of Mario Maker and Smash Bros..

Cheers man, I am hoping it'll be the device that really gets me engaged with gaming again as I did really used to love it.

Not sure of the last release that grabbed me that I truly adored, maybe Half Life 2. Botw is a big hope for me as my fondest gaming memories are roaming around Hyrule with Epona as a kid.

It's held in my hands so this is counting as one.

Just got through the Cascade Kingdom, what an astounding game.

Terrible choice of me to play this first, gonna have to force myself onto Rabbids to get it done before it devalues post Xmas.

Ok so, I'm gonna return rabbids for 30 quid to amazon actually and buy another game with that cash. Unless, I'll blast through it in a week and could trade someone for another game if they fancy Rabbids but don't have it yet? Drop me a pm yo.

Rabbids is a great game, I'd recommend giving it a go. Takes 20-25 hours to do main story, 40-45 to do everything to 100% I'd say.

Can't remember falling in love with a gaming device do quickly, it's strawberry floating ace. The inventiveness of Mario is just :o

Although the battery life does seem pretty wank, got a flight to Atlanta on Monday and it'll barely get me passed Ireland by the looks of it. Love the little rumbles and the screenshot function. Thought the left joystick felt a little floppy initally but actually it's fine.

Been nice seeing Rocsteady going from slight buyers remorse to loving the console in the space of a few hours.

Odyssey is so good in the handheld mode that I've yet to play it docked.

Mario is good but Zelda is the best game ever made. So get on it.

Is that something a high street store would sell? Not gonna have time to order for my trip.

Feel like I'm just spamming up this thread now but treated myself to some weed and a chill Friday evening and I'm having an amazing time, so fun. Drumstick's been a lad and offered to take Rabbids off my hands once I've had a chance to quickly rinse through it as well so will lay off Mario from tomorrow and get cracking with that. Nintendo

Also I'm so strawberry floating hyped for botw ob, really hope it lives up to my expectations.

Capcom are holding a Megaman live stream on Monday, what’s interesting is that Nintendo of America have retweeted the announcement.

Megaman Legacy Collection 1&2 for Switch maybe?
