Umming and ahhing over whether to jump on 1-2 Switch since it's on offer, should I go for it or something else like Snipperclips or Overcooked for some multiplayer mishaps?

[TWA mode]Snipperclips is one of the best local multiplayer experiences around![/TWA mode]
It's scary how hyped I am. There are so many theories and so much potential. I'm praying for a Direct today. I feel like the Switch Fire Emblem reveal is a cert at this point, and that's the Switch release I'm most looking forward to this year. I was literally watching a YouTube video where someone was dissecting a tweet with a Mii wearing a HotDog outfit, reading into it some secret meaning to the Direct, at the same time wondering what am I doing with my life, but still content and hyped. The deleted GameSpot tweet really stirred the pot, as if the 'insiders' weren't already, and even Nintendo and third party Twitter accounts. Even the 'mini Direct' talk doesn't temper expectation because Direct's tend to be 40ish minute affairs as standard these days.
Tropical Freeze was the one Wii U port I wanted as I missed it at the time so I'm delighted with that.
Also, I always maintained the Mario Tennis on Switch had a great core but just wasn't fleshed out a lot. If they've taken the engine and refined it with a story mode, that could be a solid entry for the series.
Mario x Rabbids DLC looks like it's going in a promising direction too.

Bar Kirby, looks like they're padding the release schedule with Wii U ports and 3rd party titles until the summer.
Understandable they have a first party dry spell after the 2017 they had but at least they've prepared for it and have stuff on offer, even if it's not top tier.
As someone who didn't own a Wii U I'm happy they're porting Tropical Freeze. I'll also probably pick up Hyrule Warriors as I never owned it on 3DS, and wavered a few times. Definitely in for The World Ends With You. Mixed on Ys VIII, I own the PS4 version, but have been waiting for the new localisation patch. So tempted to double dip... Cannot wait for Kirby Star Allies. Glad it's in March. Maybe I should finally give Dark Souls a try. I'm not sure it's for me...
Yeah, your mileage with this Mini Direct is going to depend on how many Wii U games you played. I've had mine in another country since mid-2014, so I'm well chuffed Hyrule Warriors and DK are coming to the Switch. I was going to "eventually" get them on Wiu U, but it's just so much easier (and better) this way.
Whilst I loved Dark Souls, I only played it for the first time last year, so I'll probably leave that. Especially as I have 2 and 3 still to play, and there are rumours they will crop up on Switch eventually.
Mario Tennis I will have high hopes for, having adored the original N64 version, but will likely be disappointed again, as I have been with every iteration since then. Hopefully the RPG mode beefs the game out, as they have always been a little thin.
Fe and Celeste look interesting, so I'll see how they are received.
As it is, there are at least two games in there I want to buy, that I didn't know existed until a few moments ago. Can't really moan at that.
