Is another trailer on the Japanese direct. They showed different content on both to show off as much as possible.

The Japanese trailer has them in bikinis because of course it does :lol:

It looks like a fun fighting game to be fair. I tried to get back into fighting games recently (BlazBlue and SFII) but I kind of fizzled out. I'll probably give SNKH a go when it comes out. I'm looking forward to the port of Third Strike as well.

Will definitely be jumping on board Mario Tennis. Loved both the N64 and GameCube versions. If Tropical Freeze is really as good as people here are saying I might get that as well.

I'll be buying Tropical Freeze again; the Level loading on Wii U was god awful :dread:

and spoiled Time Trialling for me, hoping the cartridge based nature of the Switch will speed it up!

Also glad I never picked up Mario Tennis Wii U, the new story mode levels look neat :wub:

I'll definitely be getting Mario Tennis and TWEWY is one of my favourite DS games so I expect I'll get that again too. :toot:

I've yet to try a Dark Souls game, so I might consider that too.

Can't help but think that the biggest news was the release of Stardew Valley in Japan. Man that man must be loaded, set for life!

My wallet is going to take a hit as I want most of the games. :cry:

Hack and slash JARPG awesomeness with awesome music. Can be as easy or as rock hard as you want it to be.

Mario Tennis looked great, hope the story mode isn't just a barebones offering. Definitely want to pick up TWEWY, DK and Dark Souls as well.

I think this is what everyone should have expected really. Most of the games mentioned are coming out really soon which is good and means there is still plenty of news to come out of Nintendo for 2018.

There will be another direct soon for the bigger stuff this year. By the end of March at the latest anyway.

At first with that first fight in the JP trailer I was thinking, that cat bikini is ridiculous, then the ENTIRE TRAILER has them in bikinis.

And I realised that Nintendo have avoided showing anyone being shot at all in the PayDay 2 segment, to the extent that there is a part where some guy is firing a semi auto weapon into air for no reason.

I hope they get better with pricing, I can justify spending £50 on Zelda, Mario Kart and Mario but not sure I can on Mario Tennis or Kirby.

Another Direct could be coming sooner than we think

- The Japanese Nintendo Direct page has a blank space even after the Mini yesterday, this usually indicates a Direct is on the way

- History shows that, after a ND Mini, a full Direct usually follows up to 20 days later

Could we see a bigger Direct by the end of the month showing more and this Mini was just a teaser to get some of the smaller, port releases announced?
