I'm loving seeing all these new people on GRcade. :wub:

Welcome, guys.

Finished Oxenfree. Probably a 6 or 7/10. The art is lovely, the soundtrack suitably spooky but there's a serious clash between the intended creepiness of the plot and the teen-speak of the characters. Amazingly, this actually got worse as the game went on. After every scare there's an unfunny joke, after every serious moment a misjudged attempt to lighten the mood. One character went from charmingly goofy to gut-twistingly annoying and then some.

Such a shame as there's a really good game in there somewhere, obscured by the terrible dialogue.

Picked up Earth Wars on the eShop and it's pretty legit. Considering it's only £4 too its quite impressive. Combat feels super smooth, almost like a 2D DMC. With tons of skills to unlock I can see it getting even crazier. Hope more people buy this to support the Devs because I think there is a lot of potential here for a future series.

FYI, FIFA 18 is just over £20 on amazon right now. I've nabbed a copy, as FIFA on the go would be great, but I wasn't going to pay £50 for it.

Kirby is looking like the cutest game ever made. I cannot wait to play it. A good few months coming up for the switch with at least one thing a month to buy.

I never have to read Nintendo Life or any other website, I get all my Nintendo news from Fisher

SimplyGames despatched my Bayonetta 2 today so hopefully have it tomorrow. Can't wait to get stuck into it.
