Still holding out on Nintendo to make that happen, so I don't have to import a Wii U from the states.

why would you need to import a wii u to play dk64?

To speedrun the NTSC version.

A special edition of Trop Freeze, including a key ring and some stickers, has been spotted on Amazon Italy.

This is the kinda thing that - pathetically - will turn my head :fp: . Gotta resist!

Could they do justice to Samba de Amigo on Switch? The Wii version was a bit crap if I remember rightly, but with better motion controls and HD rumble it could be good I think on Switch.

Man, it kills me that the Wii version came out before motion plus support could be added...would've done wonders for it.

I imagine the joycons would be up for it, motion control tech seems pretty strong in them.

If Sega brought the original Samba De Amigo over as a Sega Ages title with added Joycon motion support :datass:

I would also want Joycon shells sold that I could put the Joycons in for added immersion

Maybe they'll do cardboard templates you can make at home with the addition of a few dried lentils.

My joy-con woes are over as I bought a second-hand left blue joy-con for £30. Much better than paying £70 for a new pair!

I've also been playing Streets of Red - it's decent! The pop culture references are actually... well handled? I certainly appreciate a game that has both mom from binding of isaac and the alien queen from alien as boss battles.

Kerying AND stickers? Wow! What a special edition!

I'm really hyped for this, it reminds me so much of Powermonger from back in the day. All we need now is a lovely little turn based, Advance Wars clone to round off the Switch.

Hearing that Dark Souls is delayed on Switch until "summer" - i.e. probs "autumn" in publisher speak - has got me wondering about the Switch release schedule. Hyrule Warriors isn't due until 18 May and I'm not certain about picking that up; so, quite possibly, my next physical game on Switch will be 22 June when Mario Tennis Aces launches. I've only bought one physical game so far this year and that's Gear Club Unlimited, which released last year. As for new releases, my last one was Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which arrived in early December.

Tl;dr Potentially over six months between buying a "new release" cart game on Switch :o . Great for my wallet but I'm not sure that this was the kinda release schedule Nintendo were aiming for. FAKE EDIT: Yeah, there have been digital games :shifty: .

It is looking a bit sparse on the physical release games front, some great digital only games though that are well worth anyone’s attention but yeah it’s not great that the next 2 big Nintendo releases are ports

With Splatoon existing, who needs new games?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:
