Well me and the misses finally played Mario Vs Donkey Kong... I hadn't had chance to play it at all but we threw it on in two player and rather enjoyed it so far, I guess that's my Mario day mario play.

So, after Peach, Nintendo has a big gap in the release schedule until 23rd May. Could they have something planned for April ? Digital shadow drop maybe?

Mario Tennis is meant to be quite good, isn't it? Is the GBA one on the GBA app as well?

I can see us getting nothing for April to be honest, feels like they're already fully on board with the Switch 2 from this years release schedule, so while there is plenty of stuff they could use to fill the gaps in 2024, whether they do fill them or not is another question

Tried to pre-order TTYD with a remaining voucher I got for TOTK but it expires before TTYD comes out.

I can't imagine anything else that can use it will be coming out in the next couple of months so I guess I'm looking at Pikmin 4, Advance Wars, or Super Mario RPG.

Could well do, maybe Metroid Prime 2 HD in April, 3 later in the year along with a physical release?

This year will definitely be propped up by remakes and remasters, any big new stuff they’ll surely save for Switch 2 release year and beyond at this point. A Fire Emblem remake could be one of the second half 2024 games, F Zero GX maybe as well for variety.

That and I actually want Super Mario Bros Deluxe which was the GBC port of the NES game. Being able to finally play the multiplayer weird race boo mode with a friend would be so good. (at least I think it was multiplayer?)

Meanwhile I'm surprised they've not added a lot of stuff to the eshop or online apps They're sitting on an absolute gold mine of older content they could distribute in some way. I mean surely Zero Mission is in the works as well? Or are they just going to leave it out in the cold?

SMB Deluxe was a great release on GBC.

Included the original game and (in slightly modified versions) the true SMB2 "lost levels" content as well, alongside a bunch of unlockable stuff if I recall correctly.

I'll not be happy until their entire back catalogue is on the service, so any additions for me is good.

N64 Tennis and Golf are the series highs for me but the GBC games are great and noteworthy for their excellent single player modes.
