OLED arrived today, didn't realize how much better the screen was going to be!

Also picked up Tears of the Kingdom, Advance Wars, Persona 5 and Fire Emblem Engage.... should keep me busy for the next few months.

Eight years?!? I can scarcely believe it!

I do recall saying that I wasn't gonna get the Switch and I did cancel my pre-order. But... then I caved and got the Switch at the end of April 2017 :-).

I'm looking forward to the new era of Chat Thread 8, Rula!

Edit: Hang on... Switch will be 7, not 8...

It'll be year number 8 of the Switch though, so it is technically 7 years old, but then going into its 8th year.

I just saw the credits on Kirby and the Forgotten Land , I bet there's loads and loads of content after but I had returned to this after finishing Paper Mario as I thought I should finish something I previously started instead of going onto a new untouched game.

Not sure what I will play next.

I wouldn't say it's necessary, but I would recommend you do yes. I think you'll find mixed opinions on it!

I think yes, because TOTK uses the same world and adds a bunch while also removing some things too. I think if you experience TOTK first it won't feel as good going back as it does the going from BOTW to TOTK.

Yeah I’d say so, it’s not essential by any means though.

If you do what to play BoTW before TotK, I’d say to leave a gap between them, unless you’re prepared to spend 250-350 hours in basically the same map spread over two games.
