I've been so hyped for this game since the first time I saw it. It reminds me so much of Powermonger which I spent so many hours playing back on the Atari ST.

Ah, never played that, but I've just googled it and I can remember seeing it in magazines. Loved that isometric viewpoint - see also Populous, Settlers and Syndicate. I also loved PixelJunk Monsters. I've just bought 2 in the sale, so will be interesting to see how these compare.

Those Bad North graphics are perfect to my eyes. Love that art style.

I am usually not very taken with "indie-style" game art. I think indie games are often derivative &/ unpolished &/ stylistically incoherent. But that is a rare indie game where my reaction is, "fair play, that looks really pretty."

Totally unexpected. I never played the first but I adored Grandia II on the Dreamcast. Interesting to see what they do graphically with it.
