I'm hoping today or tomorrow, when I last had a brief look for the review embargo I couldn't see a specific date. Not that it'll stop me getting it but I really hope the embargo doesn't lift on Friday, really want to see what reviewers think about them as well as they do seem to be proving divisive games.

The couple of reviews I've watched so far haven't set the world on fire (8.3 from IGN and 'Liked' from GameXplain) but it sounds like an enjoyable game to play. Still can't wait to play it this weekend

I think 8/10s were just about as high as it could realistically hit given what it was aiming for. It sounds like it has hit that sweet spot of being accessible to new (Pokémon Go) players while also drawing in older fans who will enjoy the nostalgic trip. However, without a deeper experience it was unlikely to be a high scoring Pokémon game. I think next year's new generation game will hopefully have more ambition though.

There might have been a single sheet Squeenix flyer but nothing more than that.

Not sure if anyone has picked up Bad North at all? I finally took the plunge yesterday after deciding I couldn't wait for a price drop. So glad I did. Instantly lost 90 minutes to. Lovely little game. Feels easy at the moment so I'm waiting for a huge difficulty spike soon, but I'm loving it so far.

Recommended if you like tower defence/strategy-lite types of games.

Runner 3 is on sale for 8 quid and has numerous updates now to make it more approachable, while still keeping the leaderboard scoring balanced. Think I will pick this up tonight. Does anybody else play it?

Also, Art of Balance has had a motion controls update. So I think i will be picking this up too as I might be able to persuade my wife to play it with me ...
