Generations came out for the 10th anniversary of the series and it's basically a best-of containing monsters and hub areas from previous games, and it introduced hunter arts and styles which give each weapon special moves and play styles e.g aerial style lets you do attacks that propel you around in the air. Generations Ultimate is the western version of XX that came out in Japan last year and adds G-rank quests among other things. It's got less story stuff than 4 Ultimate but tons more monsters.

On the one hand having passed on it naively hoping for a vita version ( ) for portablitiy, this appeals to me, but then i remember its an old game and no doubt it will be stupidly overpriced so I'll never buy it.

Fell deeeeeeep down the rabbit hole of this after buying the Necromancer DLC when it hit. And still, I'm tempted by this. Hopefully it'll be $30 budget release, but I doubt it.

The article in the link is suggesting a $60 release which will include all expansions and some exclusive content.

Oh wow: just had a quick look and the Ultimate Evil version for PS4 is still $30 itself. Huh.

I bought Diablo III twice on the PC as Blizzard wouldn't let me reclaim my original key.

Still, it cost like £15 for the game + DLC at the time and as much as I'd love a Switch version £50 is a tad too much.

Yeah I often wonder this. I think £42 is the most I’ve paid but it’s usually £40 or less.

Yeah I don’t think I’ve paid more that £40 for a Switch game tbh. They are either priced less than £40 or some site will usually have a voucher or something to get % off an order so it knocks the game under the £40 bracket.

I will hold off on buying Diablo straight away though, too much other stuff coming this half of the year. Apparently this should be officially announced today so we may see a gameplay trailer at some point this afternoon.
