The very beautiful looking GRIS has been released today and is receiving some superb reviews. I have a horrible back log currently, with a brand new PS4 and lots of unplayed games, but I really want to buy and support this game. Just greed really.

Around this time last year, I bought Gorogoa at launch to support that for the same reason, which was one of my highlights of 2017.

Anyone picking GRIS up?

Incidentally I’m one of those evil art-destroying people who wasn’t all that keen on Gorogoa. It was very short, and yet still seemed to have run out of the best uses for its mechanic by the second half.

Guac 2 on my wish list also. Would it be worth skipping to Guac 2, without playing the original? It seems to be regarded as the superior game.

Just seen that the two Shantae games have both also finally had the price drops I've been waiting on. :fp:

I think 2 is the better game in probably every measure (especially for me the humour, they have found their voice a lot better imo), but the first game is still great and worth playing. My suggestion would be to play the first (which is cheaper), then providing you liked it wait a while before then getting the second (at a discounted price for owning the original).

Nothing stopping you jumping straight in at 2 though

Started playing Capcom Beat-em up bundle last night, played through Captain Commando first. It’s a neat little collection of beat-em up’s with decent extras like the the ability to play the English or Japanese versions and extra artwork.

There was a Captain Commando arcade machine in the halls of residence when I was at uni. Such a fun game, probably stuck enough quids in that over the space of a year to buy the actual cab.

Literally strawberry float them for surprise announcing it and not meeting demand I would absolutely LOVE that but apparently I'm straight up screwed now. And now I have to wait anxiously in the vague hope of getting Jak II which I'll genuinely be incredibly upset over if I miss

I'm sorry, what the heck is this? They release games for a limited time only?
