Regarding the update for the Pro Contoller, you need to have it attached to the console via the USB cable and force the update via the settings menu.

Mario Tennis Aces also has an update that makes improvements to the Adventure Mode plus adds the new online CO-OP mode! I’ve not touched the game since launch but this might finally be the time to give Adventure mode a go

Q: After this morning's update I tried the save backup feature to be informed that I needed to have an online subscription. Is there a way to back up saves via a micro SD? Currently my saves are allocated to the Switch but is there a way to transfer/copy them to a micro SD?

My joy con has been drifting so will see if this resolves it. I have a label ready to go to return it to Nintendo if not. Fingers crossed.

Bit worried about this region locking if you subscribe to the online service, has anyone confirmed this yet?

I've bought a bunch of eShop games from other regions so will be well and truly peeved if they screw me over them!

Yeah, looking at posts on Reset Era, the problem seems to only be in relation to Japanese consoles and the new Famicom app. I don't think there are reports of any other issues at this stage.

Updated my Switch this morning and got the free weeks pass, and I tried some NES games and I was impressed.
Would've been nice if there was more at launch but long as they keep the games coming each month I'll be happy.
