I'm tempted to try that. I played it on iPad. I know it's meant to be chaotic but it just didn't work right with a touchscreen. I imagine it will be great with the joy cons.

EDIT: Managed the heart transplant after nine attempts This is going to be another of those games I never see the end of, isn't it? (Couldn't manage it at all in co-op!) I almost wish they hadn't gone for the typical cumbersome indie game control scheme.

Just had a look on iPad to remind myself. At the main menu (your desk), there's an old-style PDA on the left with VERY basic instructions for the heart transplant.

There's not a PDA on this Switch one, but I've found a floppy disc that seems to have a bit of a MS Paint guide of where to cut There's no chance I can actually aim for the right bits, though. Just cut EVERYTHING.

How are you finding FF XV so far? I downloaded it yesterday and quite enjoyed chapter 1, which is as far as I’ve got with it so far. The chibi look reminds me of the FF IV remake on DS, which I liked at the time. Weirdly, I have had the “proper” game for over a year on PS4 and have never bothered playing it, and even bought the Royal Edition for the extra content, but as soon as I had it downloaded to Switch I was playing straight away.

The NES Online games will have a feature where your friends can move a hand image to "help" you by pointing at useful stuff during the game. Dat asynchronous play .

Oh, and if you subscribe to Online for twelve months you can download a (very basic-looking) Nintendo Online t-shirt and trainers for use in Splatoon. Also... the NES games wil be in "HD" (gasp!) and support save states.
