Celeste is still the best.

Just done Summit C-Side.

I think I remember OrangeRaccoon posting a video of doing it ages ago, and looking at it I thought really?

And now I've done it and feel like Really. 8-)

B)

This is the Celeste magic. Nothing is insurmountable if you just keep trying! (And I had to try an awful lot, it took me hours  )

Chuffed that the drum arrived today having ordered it in August. Seems really responsive. Needs weight putting in the back as it moves about a bit too much right now.

Are The Room 1, 2 and 3 available on Switch?

Edit. Yes, it seems available to buy now.

Can't resist any longer, I need to get in on this sweet Nintendo action. After some advice: what accessories are must have? I presume some sort of case for the screen but anything else?

Screen protectors are a divisive issue: if you want to get one, then get one, I have one and it looks fine.

Other than that, I wouldn't say there are any must-have peripherals, really. The Pro controller is great, but not totally necessary from day 1 (see how you get on with the joycons in the supplied grip). If you are actually going to be taking the Switch out and about with you, then a hard shell case would be a very good ideas. They can be found for around £10 on Amazon.

Other than that, it's really about the games. Mario and Zelda are about as essential as gaming gets, IMO.

I'd suggest getting the Pro Controller straight away. It's marvellous and you'll look back on a great decision when you clock up three figures on Zelda.

The dock was leaving scratches on the left side of my screen so I grabbed some screen protectors immediately for about a tenner.

Never felt the need for a Pro Controller. Using undocked joycons gives you so much more freedom in terms of posture I'm not sure I'd want to give that up. Also, dolla dolla that's-a one expensive controller!

Yeah, that's the main issue really. If money is endless, then get one. If it's the choice between getting that and Zelda, get Zelda.

For me there was a huge difference in comfort and the overall feel of the Pro controller. Worth every penny.

I just have the set of joycons that came with the console. I find them very comfy and simple to use so I have not seen the need for a pro controller.

I've thought about a pro controller a few times myself but never thought that it's a must have, I find the joycons in their dock perfectly fine. I got screen protectors with my Switch as well, I'd read a few posts elsewhere about the dock scratching the screen and didn't fancy it happening to mine, small expense at a few quid as well.

As Poser said, if you can buy the games plus a pro controller then why not? I imagine docked play might be slightly better but if you can't, definitely get BoTW for example.
