I played the switch demo and enjoyed it, but am not sure how well it would hold up over the full game length. It's 15 quid in my local Smyth's on both switch and 3ds. I can't help but feel it would pay better on 3ds, but I feel I am more likely to keep playing on the newer switch format. Has anybody tried both versions?

ive only played the switch version but i can see how it would seem like it might work better on 3ds but i think its good game and would be worth getting for 15 quid it does work really well on switch

Thanks. I'm pretty tempted. I just found my finger would sometimes obstruct the screen and make it hard to see adjacent plates. I could probably get used to it though. Do you play with the touch screen controls or using stick?

ive only played with the stick id forgotten you could used the touch screen

That's interesting. I figured stick would be hopeless based on a quick run through on the demo. Good to know it can be used as the main method of control.

You get to see a number of incredible beasts in the analysis :o .

Well you've got to experience them somehow Jawa

I'm looking forward to the day that I tackle those monsters for real :datass: .

I haven't played both versions, but I did enjoy my time - all my time, and that was several hours - with SS on Switch. Slightly duff story but top gameplay that stays interesting. Didn't have any problems with fingering the screen (oo er) either.

Good to hear. I'm leaning towards Switch version. Thanks!

The World Ends With You is probably one of the only Switch games that I wish was on 3DS instead, them motion controls are like a bad Wii game.
Shame cause the game is excellent and the soundtrack is immense.

Got 30quids worth of Amazon vouchers from work so spent just over a tenner to get the new Mario party. Should be good fun to play with friends!

Managed to hold off on buying Dark Souls for the moment. I booted it up on PC and got cursed by the frogs in the sewers. Reminded me of why I stopped playing the last time!

I did order Valkyria Chronicles 4 on switch, and pre-ordered Diablo 3.

Please don't take offense, but you're not the kind of person I'd choose to share Mario Party with.
