Why drop them, just include them, gooseberry fool they are going to charge full price for a game that was already made and so make a chuffing great profit.

It's not full price to be fair, you can get it £30 on pre-order quite easily at the moment.

Odd decision though yeah. I dunno if there's a technical reason for it but I'm struggling to think what it could be.

Well Captain Toad was never full price either

Neither was Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and they still bumped that up for the Switch version....

No, they released it at cheaper price on Wii U. I’m not sure U.K. but America was $50 for Wii U on initial release and $60 on Switch for initial release.

So that's potentially Mario Tennis and Captain Toad off my to buy list.

I mean, if you've never played Captain Toad you should definitely still be getting it. They've only dropped 4 levels and replaced them with 4 Odyssey levels instead. It's not really that big a deal, more just an odd decision.

I was told it was already a short game, so the decision to remove any content even with replacements to hand is very curious and kind of sours me a little.

There are rumours that Captain Toad Treasure Tracker on Switch and 3DS has the four new Mario Odyssey levels as replacements for the Mario 3D World levels that featured in the Wii U version. I hope not; as another port, I'd expect it to have all of the original stuff as well as the newer bits!

It's not a rumour, it's confirmed

Super Bell Hill, Conkdor Canyon, Shadow-Play Alley, and Clear Pipe Cruise were in the original Wii U version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Nintendo’s official Japanese website confirms that they have been swapped out with the new Super Mario Odyssey levels on Switch and 3DS.

That's because they're saving them for the switch to tie in with the inevitable 3d world port.

Yeah I think swapping them sucks, the switch version should have been a re-release with extras at minimum, I will probably ignore it to be honest.

Re: Splatoon 2, it hasn’t expanded on the local multiplayer, infact it has ditched it completely.

This is a total shambles, though. Shocking decision.

I'm going to try the demo on both 3ds and Switch. For some reason the 3d effect and the second screen has me thinking the 3ds may be the more playable version. But I will see how I feel after both demos.

You can add Whip! Whip! now too as I bought that tonight and it has local co-op.

Octocopter is kuru kuru kururin with a much more basic presentation. It's also only about an hour long, but it costs pennies so that's okay. I enjoyed it!

Yeah, it's a fun little game. West of Loathing is a better RPG though unless you really like golf.
