Haven't tried it myself yet but someone from resetera put together some handy instructions:

Just think, you could be the Mario to someone's Waluigi

For now I'm just going to sign into my own account on my second Switch and keep it in my room but take the one that I'm using now to the living room for anyone to use. This way, everyone can play the ones that I have bought but I can play mine on either one :toot:

I put Toad with Paratroopa when I unlocked the Toad pair. Before that it was Koopa and Paratroopa.

I definitely misjudged Undertale. Finished it earlier and already considering playing through it a second time. It kind of reminded me of Nier Automatica in a way, probably the only other game that I've played through multiple times.

I hadn't realised this either. Sickeningly impressive!

I've just started darkest dungeon, the controls are stupidly fiddly but it's really good so far.

Did they alter the UI on Switch? I found the Vita version quite difficult to read at times.

Ooooh, very tempting - any idea how this version reviewed - is there a song list available? Have only ever had the Taiko game for DS, but been craving a good rhythm game.

Grabbed the game when we were in Japan. Currently awaiting the Drum being delivered from Play Asia. Suffice to say overall I've paid more then the Base.com price. Great game with the touchscreen - I find that the joycons miss the odd note which is frustrating. After the arcade we just couldn't not bring a copy home.

Here's a song list, and here are a couple of reviews.

Seeing as you've already played the DS version, you basically already know what you're getting, just with much higher quality graphics and audio. There are also rhythm-based minigames, but they're very simplistic and not all that fun, really.

Thanks! Seems likely this is the type of game to sell out and never come back into stock, so tempted to get in the preorder early, but will need to justify dropping nearly £90 on it to myself first.

Base.com don’t take payment until despatch so if you put your pre-order down now you can always cancel.

If it does sell out entirely, you could always buy the Japanese version, seeing as they recently released an English patch. There's a standalone drum peripheral made by Hori too, if you can't find a bundle.

It's the only version I've played so I can't say, but it's very fiddly.

Joy-cons are apparently not the best way to play...

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/0 ... _on_switch

Does work with buttons and touch though in handheld mode. But the drum controller really does look like the way to go if you want to get the most out of the game.

As far as ordering goes, its also available from Amazon at £89.99.
