Non, they should make them available on a Virtual Console style app thing and up-res them to 1080p and make new strawberry floating games.

Not sure if anyone else has played it but Into the Breach might just be the game you're looking for if you want some Advance Wars esque action on your Switch. Only dabbled up till now but it's very good.

Dang, man... I want to get Solaire but pre-orders sold out in minutes :-(. Seems ridiculous that more stock hasn't (so far) been made available.

Dark Souls finally arrives on Switch this week! Differing rumours are going around... some folk are saying that the audio is still compressed (albeit that seems to be based on older footage) whilst, in the new video above, gameplay seems to be solid.

Are you gonna be visiting Blighttown on your Switch?

I'm not sure if I'll buy it now. I was hyped for it at the start of the year, but when it missed the May release I re-played for a while on PC.

Overcooked 2 is reduced on the store. 20% off, making it 16 wraps. I've bitten at that point. My wife loves the first one.

Yellow ones are £55 in Currys but it's only showing for collect in store so I reckon it's probably a lottery as to whether anywhere has stock.

Alternatively there is a Mario Party bundle coming in November at £99

Or, supposedly they're £59.99 in Tesco at the moment.

Mario Party plus Joycons are now £89.99 at Amazon.

Having felt a bit guilty about only putting 5 hours into Mario Odyssey, I had a go on it again this morning. It was an exercise in frustration, I'm just not very good at platformers  :fp:

I can appreciate the design and style and all the rest of it, but it just doesn't grab me.

Normally, I'd say never mind, move on, plenty of other games out there worthy of your time.

But... not this time. Persist. If it clicks with you it'll be so worth it.

Nah, it's had enough chances. I'll no doubt dip into it every now and then, but I don't anticipate putting any serious time into it. There are too many other shiny games out there vying for my attention, and my gaming time is so precious these days I can't afford to waste it getting needlessly frustrated.

There is an assist mode which is pretty...assisting. I was struggling on some post game content to the point where i would have dropped it, but turning this mode on got me over the hump.
