It's 25% off at £44.99

Splatoon 2 is 33% off at £33.49 if anyone was after that digitally too. Obviously expectations have to be in check for first party eshop discounts :p

Why the strawberry float can’t Nintendo just publish a list of prices for their sale on the sale page? It tells you what games are on sale, but not how much they are.

Sony's reasoning for not doing it on the EU store is that the pricing differs across different countries so maybe Nintendo do something similar?

If they can show your countries prices in the store they write something to show your countries prices on a webpage.

Coming off the back of E3, how is everyone feeling on the Switch line up for the rest of the year?

I’m looking forward to Smash and Mario Party but they need to have some decent single player modes really. I’m still not completely sold on Pokemon but Starlink is now on my radar thanks to the Starfox tie in.

Other than that.....it’s not fantastic, I keep thinking they must have some more stuff for August/September especially with the new online service launching. They can’t really expect to ride out the rest of the year on what they have at the moment surely? Something like a HD Metroid Prime Trilogy would have been a great September/October game, even if they announced the next revision of the Virtual Console was coming later this year would have been something.

I'll definitely be getting Smash. Not sure about anything else. What exclusives have they got coming? I buy my multi-platform games on PC, as I don't do the portable thing.

To be honest I didnt expect any better and it madeit cheaper than any physical version I could find so I picked it up. Now to wait about 24 hours for it to download on my terruble internet connection.

They have a U.K. site.

Still can’t find the details of the Nintendo sale anywhere online. Don’t have access to my consoles at the moment. What a pain in the arse.

Nintendo Life publish a weekly update of all sale prices (every Thursday, an hour or two after the 1400 eShop refresh) but I've just noted that psprices.com now cover Nintendo pricing and, based upon their record of noting PlayStation game prices, this could now be the best way of keeping up to date.

I use savecoins.me to track prices on Switch - they show what items are on sale and also allow you to compare prices from different regions - I've picked up some real bargains by doing some cross-region shopping!

EDIT: For example in the sale right now you could get BOTW for approximately £35 if you went via the Brazilian eShop!

I don't see too many Switch games that I want this year. I think I'll get Mario Tennis Aces next week (but I am now wavering a bit) and in July I would love to pick up Captain Toad Treasure Tracker and the new Adventure Time game (because Adventure Time). And that's it, really. I want to hold off from Smash Bros and Pokemon because I just know that I won't really get into them.

It's not really changed my plans for the year. I was always going to get Octopath, probably the Splatoon expansion and Pokemon was a given for my kid. I'll hold fire on Smash Bros until it's cheaper. The only things that I hadn't seen before that have piqued my interest are Mario Party and My Friend Pedro.

There's currently 10% off at The Game Collection on a range of pre-orders which would bring Mario Tennis down to around £36.50 and the Pokemon games to just over £40.

The lack of stuff (for myself) at E3 hasn't changed much really, still going to be picking up Crash Bandicoot, Octopath Traveller, Hollow Knight and Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu. Depending how long the first 3 last me (and how much motivation I have to get back to Xenoblade Chronicles 2/second play through of BoTW although I'm not rushing this one) I might pick up either Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Mario Tennis if they don't announce anything else for August/Spetember/October to tide me over. Out of the two Mario Kart is definitely the more likely out of the two despite putting 100+ hours into the Wii U version, kind of wished I'd played the Mario Tennis demo now!
