I guess they didn’t want to be overshadowed by Fortnite’s release after the Direct....

I've been interested to see how the battle royal version of Paladins turns out. I wonder if we'll get that on Switch too. It's a genre I want to try but nothing in the current landscape peaks my attention. But with Paladins having super heroes and powers it could be neat? I dunno.

Or we could just collectively ignore his gimmick posting?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Just watched some previews of Mario Tennis and it looks really good, June looking good for Switch.

Once Wolfenstein 2 and Dark Souls are out that will be the last of the big third party games on Switch that we know about won't it? I hope it gets some support at E3, it's great having a Nintendo console for more than just Nintendo games.

I just find it intriguing more than anything else, is Fisher really that short on time he can only muster one post a day at 11:49 PM? Or has Fisher actually created a bot who just posts semi coherent replies at a set time of day?

I agree, hopefully we will get more 3rd party games on the Switch in the latter half of the year as well. Bethesda and Ubisoft seem like the ones most likely to support the Switch based on the Switch's library already but who can say if other companies will show some support for it.

Is there any more concrete information on Dark Souls release date?

I think Octopath Traveler will be a fairly big release this summer too.

Expecting more to be announced at E3 though. Would be surprised if Sypro doesn’t make it across for example.

I'm pretty sure Spyro has been announced. That's the sort of game you would expect in Switch though, games like Doom, South Park, LA Moore, Dark Souls, Wolfenstein, etc offer something totally different.

Nothing that I've seen, I'm not so sure about it now anyway as later in the year I'll probably have plenty of other games to enjoy whereas this releasing in May would have filled a gap.

Yeah Octopath will be. I'd forgotten about Spyro as well, likewise I'd be surprised if that never made its way over as it was on Nintendo's website briefly from what I remember (sure it was the UK store having a placeholder up for it).

He posted 2 posts both at 11:50 PM on one day. Bots don't make mistakes, only people.

It actually hasn’t been announced yet. It was rumoured to be before the reveal but wasn’t mentioned officially.

In terms of where you’re coming from, I can see GTA5 coming this year and Diablo III has been rumoured previously. Something more from Bethesda too I think-maybe a port of a Fallout game.

West Of Loathing is rapidly becoming one of my favourite RPGs in years. There is so much lore hidden away in there, and the comedy value makes it so relaxing and easy to keep coming back to. And the number of stats, perks etc is huge. Really strongly recommend it.

I've been on the edge of buying it, but you're pushing me

I just have to remember I have Hyrule Warriors now, I don't have time for anything else. Apart from Pokemon Quest. So maybe once I finish that!

Fair one. But it’s definitely one to keep in the back of your mind.

Do you think we'll see it. I've no idea how it plays out what it's like, but if it's free I'll give it a go
