Presume you are looking to buy physical?

If not and you are happy to shop cross-region then it looks like it is going to come out at approximately £42 on the South African eShop.

I’d rather get a physical copy. It’s the kind of game I’d be likely to play then punt.

Oddly my copy of Ys which I ordered from 365games turned up yesterday! I had a quick go last night and it seems good. I think it looks better resolution wise than Xenoblade 2. The combat is super fun because the game rewards you for using your special moves instead of saving them.

When they do a full sequel rather than a remake, I'll get that version. ;)

Hollow Knight looks absolutely lush on a big TV. Cracking little game, my only negative is having to find a map for each world before you can start mapping it automatically.

It's apparently 30 hours long.

Honestly been playing this more than God of War.

Doesn't surprise me. It seems like there is a lot of content coupled with the difficulty makes it a long game for me. I can't decide whether it's 2D Dark Souls crossed with Metroid or is DS a metroidvania game anyway.

The talk of difficulty and comparisons to dark souls put me off it for the longest time, but honestly haven't struggled that much so far, but then I guess it could ramp up towards the end.

The Games Collection is cheapest I have seen at just under £42. A lot of places don't seem to be stocking it.

I played Mario Kart GP DX the other day and it got me thinking why haven’t Nintendo released the various versions of the arcade series on one of their consoles? I doubt it would be difficult or expensive to convert. Seems like an easy win for them surely?

Because while the tracks work well for the arcade, and they'd be a nice bonus in a console game, they feel unneeded when the series already includes a new version of each of those locations per game. As DLC, I would welcome it, especially since I played one of the tracks that got ported to the CTGP and found it good.

Plot twist: Fisher is seeking a Virtual Boy version.
