Not sure I want ZombiU, but I do want a pro controller and Nintendoland.

Also Mazza Kazza, and 3D world.

Wow, aayl1... yes, that is a great deal! As Dragon says, the Pro Controller is around £35. Hopefully you'll enjoy ZombiU; most folk do although it can require a few trouser changes. Nintendo Land is a great multi-player game - a couple of the mini-games are weak but there is enough there to deliver some fun.

I agree that Mazz Kazza is an absolute must. After that, you have SM 3D World, Zelda Wind Waker, Pikmin 3, Pullblox World, Walking Dead Survival Instinct* and tons more to look forward to. Most games will work fine with the standard Wii Remote although some titles require the Remote Plus. Simply Games is selling the Wii Remote Plus for under £25 and that seems to be the cheapest around. Happy spending :-).

* Don't get this!

Bookmarked that for the future.

The wife wants the current Wii U, and she's buying it off me. So will pick up another Wii U when I get my house sorted out with furniture and gooseberry fool.

Any decent Wii U Deals or should I wait for some decent bundles around the time of Bayonetta 2 release?

I think there's more than enough games I want to play now - Zelda WW, Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario World 3D, ZombiU and MK8.

Oh, the simplygames one, right? Regret I missed out on the MK8 + Free games bundle and am expecting Nintendo bring out a new, improved one for Autumn. Loving my time spent on the PS3 games I missed out on in the past 3 years, which has been busy for me, but the PS4 is not being used at all! Destiny is out next week and I am contemplating cancelling that!

Need some Nintendo magic back in my gaming life!

It's a tricky one. Those Simply Games bundles are excellent value and I wouldn't expect a new 'official' pack to be cheaper than them. But, yes, I'd hope that Nintendo will soon announce a new console pack(s) for the lead-up to Christmas. The current bundles are barely visible at retailers (high street and online).

I believe I read someplace that it was common for people to buy a console for a single game, play it and then trade in both the game and system when they were done.

Which actually seems like a pretty good attitude towards owning a system.

I avoid buying second-hand / pre-owned / used games in the UK. I dunno what most gamers do to their discs and cases, but it must involve a hammer and a knife. On the rare occasion that I've bought second-hand games from Japan, the condition has been excellent - even if it has only been awarded a "B" rating. Here in the UK, I've learnt that 'very good' or 'mint' can mean 'pretty ropey'.

I expect Nintendo to release a Smash Bros bundle, much like the Mario Kart bundle, when Smash Bros is released.

Yeah, I think that's a good call, Dragon. I'd hope to see the console plus Smash Bros game released for £199, but I can see the price tag being £240. A really cool pack would be console plus Super Mario 3D World plus New Super Mario Bros U for £199. I'm probably dreaming a bit, now.

Nintendo of America are releasing a 3D World bundle in a fortnight. It's odd that there wasn't one last year, but as least that will be rectified. I suspect that Nintendo may do an offer similar to the Kart one when Smash launches, but nothing has been announced yet.

They also put out a little showreel:

Edit- And the European version:

Apologies if mentioned elsewhere, but Amiibo figures are now available to pre-order on the Nintendo UK store and at GAME for a respectable £10.99.

That's my main concern too. Some of the games are still strawberry floating expensive.

Hey, Club U. From tomorrow I'll be away for a week or so... I look forward to catching up when I'm back!

But for tonight, let's get this place jumpin' - can I hear a "U"? :-).
