Why is there two settings the for Game Ratings, one in the main bit of Parental Control and then in the seperate Wii Menu bit.

It's cocktail time!. Then again when isn't it.

Nintendo has added some new gear to their clothing range. Click here to view; or check out the spoiler to see a few GRcadians showing off a selection of the new kit. Thanks, guys!

I think the parental lock features had an update, so I imagine one is the vestigal stuff left from launch and the game ratings bit is new.

They're still rubbish though, because the Wii mode STILL inherits it's settings from the Wii U mode and can't be enabled or disabled seperately because the Wii mode has no setup of it's own anymore.

Dry Bones t-shirt's choice of GRcader must be an ironic choice, Jawa.

The Wii U Uplay app lists an "onlne contract cash boost" reward for Watch Dogs... hmmn... maybe the game will appear one day - and with full online play?

Not sure I want ZombiU, but I do want a pro controller and Nintendoland.

Also Mazza Kazza, and 3D world.

Also, do you need Wii Motion Plus controllers for every game? I have a couple of the old ones, see.

Are you still stuck on Japanese time?! It must be about 5am when you are posting all this,

Get to bed, and let the lovely Grcadians find you a bargain.

A kid actually asked me if I had a Wii U today. It is notable as it is the first time I have actually heard anyone mention it. Ever. He probably gets bullied for owning one.

Yeah I'm totally Jetlagged. Got up and went for a run though, so I'm ready to buy my new WiiU and phone.

I'd say that £200 with a recent game is a good deal. That bundle is worth considering as the Pro Controller jumps between £30 and £40 these days.

I am off to go and get a Japanese Wii U later also. There is a Book Off near me so I will price that against online. Is there anywhere you would recommend as being particularly cheap/have a particularly good deal on? I am probably going to buy Mario Kart 8, as I don't want to go a year without playing it (and the DLC).

As an aside, I get a Japanese 3DS too. Potentially the new model, though that would mean not getting Smash Bros on release next Saturday.

Book Off will be the cheapest place if you get a second hand Wii, which you totally should.

Games are really expensive in Japan. If you find Mario Kart for sub 4500 that's a good deal.
