Nintendo obviously commemorating my 30th birthday there.

I don't really like fighting games.

Had my 3ds out on my lunch break yesterday and LOL MARIO guy was in tears laughing because 'it's still uses cartridges?! strawberry floating cartridges?!'.

I don't want to live on this planet any more.

Tell him the 'much more advanced' PS Vita also uses cartridges. Then tell him that's actually an improvement over the unwieldy UMDs of the PSP. Then tell hime solid state storage is always better than disk based: faster, no moving parts, the best laptops all have SSDs. Then slap him. It's okay, just say Dandy Kong said you could.

I kinda like Dandy's suggested approach; although, in cases like this, it may possibly be more productive just to move straight to the final step:

Dandy Kong wrote:...slap him.

> LOL MARIO guy flounders in the gutter
> Ad7 exultant in rapture because Nintendo 3DS

Just remove all the solid storage from his office desktop computer and leave him a pile of blank CD-RWs to save his files to instead.

The twist in the story is that this Mario guy also eats crisps loudly. Further cementing Ad7's ominpotent rage.

So me, @Doctor_Cupcakes, and @Imranzomg (ShockingAlberto on NeoGaf) will share a rumor next week regarding an unannounced Wii U game.

We have about 4-5 sources that this unannounced Wii U game exists. And a lot of evidence behind it. @Doctor_Cupcakes @imranzomg

For the record, this Wii U game is published by Nintendo. It's not a third party game. @Doctor_Cupcakes @imranzomg

There's no secrecy. We just need the weekend to look over all the information. We'll spill the beans Monday.

Not a lost game. Not a game stuck in limbo. Not an eshop only game. Not an indie game. Not third party.

It's a franchise that has fans.

Hmmm, wonder what it could be?

Please not Pikmin 4.

Pikmin 4 has already been confirmed by Shigs so can't be that surely?

Sequel to Nintendoland perhaps?

How did Nintendo get everything in the Wii U packaging? Packed mine away tonight and thought I'd crammed it all back in only to realise I forgot the gamepad charging cable, the hdmi, a piece of the card structure and a couple of the plastic bags.

Bloody voodoo I tells ya!

Now, this is the kind of comment that could cause hysteria! Don't panic, Club U - TWA isn't about to leave the U behind. I have it on good authority that he'll soon be back online and continuing his role as a complete gooseberry fool in Mario Kart  .

Qikz, I fear that your hopes may be dashed. But, hey, no-one is gonna be too disappointed with a new Papes :toot: .

If the rumours are true, the line up for Wii U in 2016 could be something like this

MARCH
LoZ: Twilight Princess HD
Pokken Tournament

APRIL
Starfox Zero

JULY
Pikmin 4?

AUGUST
Mario and Sonic at Rio 2016

SEPTEMBER
Paper Mario U?

NOVEMBER
LoZ U

Thrown in a couple of GC remasters like Super Mario Sunshine and that's not bad for a system on its last legs

Yeah, I'd probably be up for Zelda Twilight, Star Fox Zero, Pik 4, Papes and Zelda U.

There are a couple of third party disc titles, too: Lego Avengers (next week) and Mighty No. 9 (Feb)... plus maybe Minecraft (TBC).

There's no getting away from the fact that pickings will be slim, but hopefully eShop releases wiil bolster the line-up.
