I usually play from the Gamepad, at the moment.

There's something I prefer about playing on the gamepad as if it's a bit more intimate but I'm sure that would be different if I had a bigger TV.

Think I might sell off paper Mario gc and some their collectors items to get mp trilogy so I can get through the series. I forgot how much of an immersive game it is.. Still rock hard as well.

May have to pick up re4 wii edition too for same reason.

Nooo don't sell Paper Mario on Gamecube!

Unless you don't like it much then never mind.

I loved the game. I can't really remember much if it and i only played it once...

There are some other stuff I never play like some ps1 games I got for free I can get rid of though.

I'll never get rid of my Paper Mario TTYD  Bought it at launch.

Finally started Bayonetta 1 - I was going to start Sonic Lost Worlds but I can't find it at all... seems it's been lost. Hohoho. Oh well, legs time.

Lost World is not worthy of your time anyway.

It was given for free by mate and I would still like to play it before I judge :P

If I end up disliking it, fine - I'll just shelve it and play something else. If I do then I have another game I'll enjoy. I was in Sonic mood but I have no desire to buy Sonic Boom (sorry jawafour) as it just looks terrible to me.

Also started Hyrule Warriors - was looking at games and I was like "okay let's just play some of it" and I'm glad I did, really enjoying it so far. Bayonetta, Hyrule Warriors and SSB for Wii U will do me nicely next few weeks (along Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix on PS3) :D

I decided to wait and judge Lost World without the reviews. I made it to the snow world and I just didn't want to play anymore. I will probably do the same with Boom as well.

Every time you play Lost World or Boom, Baby Mario cries.

Is the Bayonetta 1/2 bundle exclusive to GAME?

EDIT: Nope.

Should I buy it? Bear in mind I don't have a Wii U anymore but would like to get another one of my own.

I dunno. I could end up hating the game(s).

I *know* that I should steer clear, but Boom really isn't as bad as the reviews suggested. I'm not gonna pretend that the experience is worth £35, but it does offer simple, fun platforming gameplay of the kind that has gone out of fashion.

It's just a shame that the game didn't get a bit more development time. Some of the environments are very large but, whilst I enjoy exploring them, they don't have enough interactive elements.

The game would probably be way too simple for many of you guys but, after Kart, it's the U game that I've played most so far this year.

Nope, HDMI. I have only ever played Wii or gamecube games (so I am counting the fact wii is basically a gamecube and the New Play Control Pikmin) through a composite connection :fp:. And GameCube on CRT, then consider how notoriously awful composite looks on an hdtv yet alone a flat screen.

I haven't played a recent Nintendo title since Skyward Sword and left a few Wii games to dust, so seeing all this stuff through hdmi, 60fps and 16:9 is novel to me. It's like seeing everything through new eyes.

The interesting thing about the wii u gamepad is it downscales somewhat. So that it essentially looks like a high res 3DS. I don't even notice aliasing while playing if you think of it this way.

Bear in mind this is someone deprived of a good TV for most of his adult life.

There's an HDMI cable for the Wii? :o

(Or are you playing those Wii games on a U?)

Yes. :P I can now play Wii games via HDMI thru the Wii U!

I can't even afford a component cable for my wii, so it's a massive bonus in picture quality for me!

Is Amazon's £36.95 or so the best price for the Bayonetta double pack? Looking to pick this up soon before it inevitably disappears.

I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii U and it looks no different on my set. Your TV must have a good scaler or something. I play the game with my glasses off about as far away from the screen as I can. My eyesight is so bad it's like a form of anti aliasing.

That's worth it just for Bayo 2.
