To be fair, Splatoon 1 isn't on Switch. I think some Splatoon fans like to go back to it sometimes for it's unique maps and weapons.

I think I preferred the first splatoon overall.

Now bring back miiverse!

And the minigame while waiting for a match to start!

2023 and the U is still a hot topic... magnificent!

It's good to see Kart and Splatoon back up for online play. No online charges required, either!

It's a sad moment for Club U. Going offline in April 2024*... the end of an era. But, hey, we have our memories plus there is still time to play! U is dead... long live the U! :toot: .

* Or possibly earlier, according to Nintendo:
"Please note that if an event occurs that would make it difficult to continue online services for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U software, we may have to discontinue services earlier than planned."

The Wii U is still a sales blockbuster in the US! :o .

In September, one Wii U console was registered as sold; the first since May 2022.

Could this be the start of a major comeback? Could Nintendo be re-starting manufacture of the system? I'm wondering if I'd better get prepared for a huge rush of new people wanting to join Club U :toot: .

I think if we're honest with ourselves, deep down, we know exactly who it was.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

... . Amazing!

I did contribute by buying two Wii U systems. The second one is boxed and unused!

I reckon we'll see TP/WW next year to pad out the schedule.

Maybe something like Woolly World too.

At one time I really wanted to see this happen... but it has been rumoured for so long now (over five years?) and my enthusiasm has diminished. I definitely don't think I'd be up for paying fifty wraps for each, either.

Yeah, WW/TP will be used to bridge the gap between now and the next new Zelda release. Maybe one next year and one in 2025, MP 2&3 should be next year also.
