C'mon, there's like 3 or 4 guys that didn't like it and about 20+ that did  What are you on about? You wouldn't be overreacting, would you? ;)

It's only a 6 page thread and only the last 3 are post-premiere. I genuinely think you're overreacting. Most of the negativity is the same two dudes who have multiple posts. One of those guys is a total shithead, mind. Seen him around.

FX CEO John Landgraf Says ‘Fargo’ Season 4 Will Air In 2019 – TCA

“Fargo is not gone,” FX boss John Landgraf assured during the network’s winter TCA executive session this morning in Pasadena.

The CEO said creator Noah Hawley “has an idea which excites me enormously for a fourth cycle. The plan is to have that ready for 2019. I’m focused on what will come in 2018, but our anticipation is that there’s another cycle in 2019.”

Finished season 3 last night.

Probably the worst season of the 3, but still absolute quality TV.

For me the interest fell off a cliff mid-way through season 2. Season 1 is still one of my favourite things ever. (And so I guess I really should get around to watching the film now )

Catching up with Fargo EP Warren Littlefield today at the PGA’s Produced By, he told Deadline that season 4 of the Emmy-winning FX series “will go into production in the fall of 2019.”

“(Creator) Noah Hawley is directing a film this summer (Natalie Portman in Fox Searchlight’s Pale Blue Dot), and then in the fourth quarter, he’ll write the opening hour of Fargo, and then at the top of the year, the writers’ room will go to work. Hopefully we get most of the season written, and then in fall go into production.”

In regards to season 4’s theme, Littlefield was largely mum, saying, “We have a year, a city, and a location.”

Fargo creator Noah Hawley, as he promised, has found a date on his calendar and is moving forward with a fourth season of his Emmy-winning series today toplined by Chris Rock who’ll play the head of a crime family. FX Networks and Productions CEO John Landgraf announced the news today at TCA.

Series EP Warren Littlefield told Deadline back in June that they have a city and year for season 4, and as unveiled today that’s 1950, Kansas City, Missouri.

Essentially the locale will serve as the crossroads and collisions of two migrations, Italians coming from Italy and African Americans fleeing the south to escape Jim Crow, both fighting for a piece of the American dream as two controlling crime syndicates. They are at an uneasy peace controlling an alternate economy of exploitation, graft and drugs. To cement their peace, the heads of both families have traded their eldest sons.

Rock’s character in order to prosper has surrendered his oldest boy to his enemy, and who must in turn raise his son’s enemy as his own. Then the head of the Kansas City mafia goes into the hospital for routine surgery and dies. And everything changes.

Rock said in a statement, “I’m a fan of Fargo and I can’t wait to work with Noah.”

I gave up on season 3 just didn't find it interesting. Season 2 was a struggle, shame as I enjoyed season 1 but it just wasn't enjoyable really for me after 1.

FX Networks just announced that it is positioning the premiere of the fourth installment of Fargo starring Chris Rock because of the suspension of production related to the coronavirus pandemic. Season 4 will no longer premiere on its previously scheduled date of April 19 and will no longer be eligible for the 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards. A new premiere date will be determined once production resumes.

Physical production had been completed on eight of the ten episodes ordered for Fargo’s fourth season, we hear. The new installment will not air in the 2019-2020 Emmy qualifying cycle, but the network hopes it will air later this year in 2020.

I watched Season 4 sometime last year, was a bit different from the usual someone gets mixed up in something and keeps burying themselves deeper. I enjoyed it but it felt like a different series.

The 4th season was dreadful, I made it to the second episode and the detective with Tourette's was my breaking point.

Jon Hamm, Juno Temple, Jennifer Jason Leigh to Lead ‘Fargo’ Season 5 at FX

Jon Hamm, Juno Temple, and Jennifer Jason Leigh are set for the lead roles in “Fargo” Season 5 at FX, Variety has learned.

“Fargo” Season 5 was officially announced back in February. Per FX, the new season is set in 2019 and asks the questions when is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?

Exact character details for who the three leads will be playing are currently under wraps, aside from the fact that Hamm will pay a character named Roy, Temple will play Dot, and Leigh will play Lorraine.

I like the casting for the three leads but still think this show peaked with the second season and has never really managed to reach those highs again.

I can’t believe I never watched this show when it was first on TV. Been catching up on Netflix since they announced it was leaving the service. They only have series 1-3, but it sounds like that might be a blessing, given reactions to s4. Got two episodes left and today is the deadline.
