Isnt the Tropical thing an indicator of fauna rather than heat?

Yeah I noticed this. My new starter planet was super cold but the temperature actually rose by 50% at night! :?

Now you mention it the same thing happened to me.

Been getting back into this after taking a huff a week after launch. They really have improved it.

Looks better, UI is better, missions are better, inventories are better, performance is better. Better.

I decided to sit down and have a little play. Crashes.

Probably because it took them until now to make it like this.

Maybes they should have delayed the release date a year until it was right.

Is it just me, or are waypoints fewer and further between now? I'm having a hard time finding any - and they don't appear at all if I'm flying about in my ship, frustratingly.

Haven't found many exosuit upgrade monoliths either, or any large old monoliths at all. I'm think those have been made a lot rarer.

It'd be great if there were a scanner upgrade that could point me in the direction of the last couple of fauna species on any given world, too.

I also have bought this.

Not seen anything as impressive as the planet in that 1.3 trailer (surprise surprise) on the 3 planets I've seen so far, but they are much more impressive looking than I remember from a year ago. The animals are all still derpy as strawberry float, though.

Found my first crashed freighter, which felt strawberry floating cool, but as this seems to be a new early story mission element, I guess there must be at least one in each system somewhere?

I'm also struggling with inventory space immediately. I've got a prompt in the bottom right for a quest to expand inventory space, that says to build a signal booster, but I can't, as the option isn't there. I know I could before, as my first game I started, but abandoned because of the super toxic starter planet, allowed me to build one to find heridium to repair my ship. Now on my second game with a more hospitable home planet, there was some easy heridium nearby, so I didn't need to build one, and now it looks like the option to build a booster isn't there at all. :?

Errrrrrrrrrrrr

I use a controller on the PC version as the flying is shite without one, so I cant really help - there is a key mapping list in the menu options

I'll have a look when I get home. I guess I wasn't paying attention before when I built one first time round, and just assumed it was tech you built in the ship or exosuit menu.

I'll probably give the game a go with a pad, too, as the uncontrollable roll when you fly with a mouse is pretty gooseberry fool.

Got my finger hovering over the buy button on PSN.

Worth it for £10. Especially after the update?
