Such strawberry floating BS. I've not had one purple drop from a Tiger strike. Managed to get an Exotic helmet from Xor (or whatever his name is) yesterday. Had exactly 13 coins. All my weapons are level 20 now but still want something better. :cry:

depends on the enemy.

Stun grenade is best versus mobs and in non objective multiplayer modes

Lightning grenade is best against slow bosses and in Control in multiplayer. Just throw it on the wall next to the control point and will kill everyone in the capture zone.

Pulse grenade is garbage.

As for the Defender, sticky is by far his best as it gets you an instant kill. The one that shines light is a worse version of lighting grenade and the suppression grenade knocks blade dancers and sunsingers out of their supers.

So in short, they're all good apart from pulse grenade (it's basically a worse easier to use version of the lighting grenade)

Mines the sticky as defender ,it takes out groups in pve and in PvP its brill when it sticks to another and they run around still but will inevitably die.

I think the one ive been using is the pulse (the second one on titan?). I like the AOE and ive got the DOT upgrade. But i might try the lightening one.

In other news ive upgraded my hunter to level 26. So im going to try and get my warlock up. Shes already got a fullset of legendery and 2 exotic armours waiting for her when she hits 20.

How have you managed that, the armour? Just saved engram decryptions that didn't go your way?

In other news I bought the exotic Titan armour and an engram this week. The engram decoded into exactly the same armour that I just bought.

Xur exotic engrams flipping for warlock armour from my titan and vanguard/new monarchy/engram level ups being warlock stuff too. Ive been putting them in the vault rather than breaking them down. When my Hunter got to 20 she went straight to 24 for the same reasons. So the warlock will go straight to 26 when she gets to 20.

Finally got a blue primary weapon. It's a scout rifle and is taking some getting used to. I need to learn to switch to my shotgun at close range because it's a bag of wank close up. Moved onto Mars too. I strawberry floating love popping Kabal heads. Best enemy in the game yet.

Anybody wanna help me do the Nexus strike in the next hour or so?

Finally did a Nightfall strike.

Finally hit level 18! I've also discovered the awesomeness of the hand cannon and picked up my first blue engram. I spent a good time wandering around the Cosmodrome but had to leave when some wee nyaff decided to start using me as target practice.

I know, as soon as I bought the armour I realised I'd made a mistake. Got three shards though so not all bad, up to 32 now.

FUSION RIFlE BOUNTY

The gunsmith in the tower is selling rare fusion rifles, ending at mid day today. You have to dismantle 10 of them for the pocket infinity exotic bounty. Don't forget you need at least one for the nightfall strike tasks to finish it, best to have a good one in each element to match the damage multiplier that is active.

Finished Bad JuJu and Pocket Infinity bounty, JuJu will need to be upgraded before it is useful but Infinity has been rendered worthless by the bungie nerf. What an utter waste of time, I was really looking forward to using that.

It hasn't really been nerfed, the mag size has been made smaller is all... It's still good for PvE.

I need to do the 200 nightfall kills. Just got the Super Good Advice, think I have most of the bounty exotics now.

I've got exotic bounty (Second task at the moment) to do which I need to complete any Strike 25 times.

I'm not too hot at FPS games and I've not played one online. From reading this thread, Destiny seems to be pretty demanding in terms of ability and time.

I've read about the tough mission structures (i.e. fight for hours and then get totally random awards) but is it like this right from the start? I'd be a total 'noob' and I know I'd be a weaker player... but I wouldn't mind that if the game was fun. Would I just be shot dead every few seconds or could I get time to learn how things work and build up my experience?
